Should I write something IC about the medical check-up revealing that Kain Eldar is suffering from APC flu (Absent Player Character flu), and that he needs to be left in quarantine for an unknown number of weeks? (I'm not even sure that the Heal power can do anything about viruses, etc. We could certainly say that the GAR garrison doesn't have the necessary cure on hand.)
What about @jhh3 ? Should Shin Ethan be put on the "sick list" too?

Well, Kain hasn't really told us yet why he's here, so perhaps it's as simple as Kain having come to deliver the messages and to summon Shin Ethan for his next assignment. GM narrates what Kain would have told us, and off they go.

I'd say a clone fighter (probably V-19 at this point) for Shin Ethan and Nu-class Attack Shuttle for Kain and the prisoner.

If the 3 of them fit in a nu class attack shuttle, then using the smallest number of vehicles makes the most sense.

That isn't entirely true, as shuttles are not as maneuverable as starfighters and would struggle to deal with interceptors. There are moments in the show where you see shuttles escorted by fighters.
