I guess I'll change it. There are pros and cons, but I think all taking a shuttle makes more sense for the narrative.

Incidentally, the Legends version of Kerkoidia on Wookieepedia is more informative than the NuCanon version. The planet was still recognised as a member of the Galactic Republic (presumably complete with either its own senator or some other form of sector representation). This apparently stayed true even though the Retail Caucus was based on Kerkoidia and WL became a general for the CIS (despite still being a member of Kerkoidia's planetary defence force).
(All of which really makes me wonder who the heck thought that it was a good idea for corporations/guilds to have their own representatives in the Galactic Senate?!?)

As a player, I've got a personal theory as to how that particular plot could be twisted to fit this campaign ... but no real grounds for suspicion as a PC. So I'll keep mum on that point.
