Condor shook the Captain's hand, giving the clone a firm grip, while relaxing the rest of his body. " Yes sir. We're well equipped for stealth operations and sabotage. " He neglected to mention his piloting skills, hoping they wouldn't be necessary. He wasn't familiar with the experimental stealth ship, so he'd only be along for the ride this time if everything went well.

Heading back to the rest of his squad, Condor buckled himself down as the pilot's voice came over the comms and the boarding ramp closed. He could hear a grunt from Sixer as the ship lurched off the ground, mentioning quietly that it wasn't going to be a luxury cruise. Balyeg squad's medic wasn't fond of anything that could kill you without a chance for medical care, and that extended heavily to anything involving space.

Condor had to admit to himself that the trip bothered him as well. The ship was experimental, so there was no guarantee they wouldn't be spotted. At least if he was in the pilot's seat he'd feel comfortable about making it back to the Venator's, or even running the blockade. As it stood though, he didn't like being a sitting duck. He, or his squad.

"How long it be until we get there, pilot?" asks Ker'see.

Not long general. The might not be able to detect the ship directly, but who knows if they can detect a hot ion trail. Low and slow should get us there in one piece.

"It's your comm, pilot," adds Ker'see. "I trust you'll get us there in one piece."

"Baring any unexpected developments stealth will serve us better than speed in this situation. The desire to go fast is am illusion of safety. We have to trust in the Force, and in the engineers that built this ship. You have my faith Pilot."

Despite his calm and reasoned words, Tirani is obviously holding onto the arms of his seat with unusual intensity and he might even give the illusion of fidgeting once or twice.

"Patience, just like for some of the more delicate procedures when operating," Mireska mutters to herself, then settles into a light meditative trance in preparation for the action to come.

"But we cannot tarry too long lest we miss our chance and prolong the suffering of others," adds in Ker'see.

The stealth ship made its way, undetected, to the invincible . two jedi knights, a squad of 4 clone troopers, 6 clone commandos, and an astromech slicer droid disembarked from the airlock of the Corvette onto the hull of the dreadnought. The stealthily (or so the thought) made their way to an airlock, and their astromech quickly sliced into the airlock's controls opening the door. As they were about to enter, through the transparisteel viewport they noticed 2 battle droids arguing, one of them was pointing through the hull to where one of Lieutenant Condor's men stood, that's when the jedi and other clones noticed that part of the booted foot of that clone commando was protruding over the edge of the transparisteel and that at least one of the battle droids had seen it. As the proceeded into the airlock they noticed an amber strobe light flashing an alarm, the outer door closed and the inner slid open in front of them. The could hear the clank of many metallic feet approaching. As the inner airlock door slid close behind them the horde of droids turned the corner, there they are, blast them, cried one droid, roger roger, was repeated a very large number of times (the astromech, if asked later, would report that "roger" was said 60 times).

Ker'see using her rapid reflexes to quickly draw the grenade launcher she requested fit with Ion Grenades and takes aim at the droid who issued the order. The force lending her further speed she takes aim and launches a grenade at the droids.

Not the direct hit she was hoping for as the crackle of ion energy is released into the metal frames of the droids. Without seeing the damage that took place she quickly ducks into cover.

6 of the droids drop, sparking blue and white electricity, the one who had issued the order says oooowwwww my aching circuits,

Condor had made a mental note to give Sixer a talking too once they were out of here as he headed through the airlock, silently cursing the alarms going off. The commando had been so worried about being in space that he hand't noticed his foot on the window. He had hoped they would've at least gotten outside the bridge before the alarms went off, but there was nothing to be done about it now.

The clanging of the droid feet on the metal floor followed by the cacophony of 'roger roger' was enough to grab everyone's attention. He watched as Ker'see was the first to react, sending a grenade into the droids while Condor's own rifle slid into his hands. He pulled the trigger on his blaster and his brought it up to aim at the droid left standing as the others crumbled, the familiar feel of his rifle's recoil filling his hands as he pulled the trigger. Most of the rounds were off target before he had the rifle at his shoulder, but a final round hit the Droid's blaster, sending it scattering out of the b1's hands.

That was all he had time for as he could see the other droids getting ready, slow to react as they were. "Balyeg! Cover!" he shouted, and the rest of the commandos started moving into whatever cover they could find as Condor strafed behind a outcrop in the wall, protecting him from frontal attacks. O-3 was slower to move, having brought his flamethrower to bear, sending a streak of fire across the hallway at the droids, before sliding into cover behind a nearby crate.

Due to lack of more specific orders, Mireska's troopers fall back on their training. They duck behind the nearest available cover, start shooting with their blaster carbines, and begin reducing one group of droids.

Mireska quickly activates her personal plasma shield, followed up with drawing and activating her lightsabre.

She then tries to call upon the Force to create a different type of shield for herself against the coming droid attack(s). Still a bit unnerved after her first "cold shirt" space walk without an EVA suit, she can't muster the necessary discipline to marshall the Force as she desires. However the Force does answer her call in some fashion as it brightens momentarily before letting the chance cubes of probability fall in her favour.

Gritting her teeth, Mireska prepares to reflect any incoming attacks against either herself or her nearby allies.

For the Republic! she thinks to herself.

Meanwhile the still cloaked Corvette passes through the magnetic field separating the black vacuum of open space from the well lit breathable atmosphere. The b1 battle droids are visually displaying confusion, the pressure gauge sensors indicate that something large has entered the hanger but they can't see it. The droids are arguing with each other over the odds of the pressure gauge malfunctioning while the amber alarm and claxon screeches it's warning

Condor watched as the lance of flame from O-3's weapon took down a droid, lighting another one on fire for a moment that quickly died out. A quick glance behind him showed the troopers opening fire as well, taking down another droid with their volley as they hid behind cover. The droids may have been slow to move, but the sheer number of them lit the hallway with red light from their blasters as they began returning fire. He couldn't see it, but he could hear the droid he'd disarmed ordering them to focus on Ker'see as the laser fire shifted and peppered the Jedi, sending her to the ground.

He'd seen clones die from less on Geonosis, adrenaline surging as the Jedi fell. His training told him he needed to stay in cover, keep his head down, but he suspected that if they were going to keep the Jedi alive through this they'd need to act fast. Making his decision, he shouted to Mireska, staying behind his corner of wall out of the line of fire. " General! We'll buy you some time! " He wasn't sure if Mireska would be able to save Ker'see, but he knew that Jedi were often skilled in healing, and if they could just get the upper hand he could get Sixer over to help as well.

He shouted at Balyeg to suppress the droids, and they opened up with their blasters, firing blind from behind their cover. It was enough to give him the opening he needed, and he ran out of his cover, narrowly avoiding the crossfire as he closed the gap with the droid battalion. A shot nearly took him in the shoulder, and he dropped, rolling on the ground out of the way, coming up on one knee and pulling the trigger on his blaster. His aim was true as it struck the remaining droid he'd disarmed before, and he swept the blaster from left to right, the ion shots tearing into the droids.

Making himself a target was dangerous, but it gave his men the opening they needed. Pulling off some of the blaster fire, Boomstick had been given an opening, the wall by his cover blackened with laser burns. He leaned past his cover, as the lasers on him were directed elsewhere, Anti Armor attachment on his ICWS brought to bear. The Commando sent a grenade towards a group of the droids suppressing O-3, decimating their ranks as the clone commandos continued to fire, hopefully buying Mireska the opening she'd need.

Mireska uses her lightsabre to reflect a portion of the droids' attacks (but not enough to avoid being wounded), and even manages a deperate lunge to reflect part of the barrage of shots aimed at Ker'see.

Moments later - and grateful for the opening given to her by Condor - she drops her lightsabre, turns off her personal shield, practically rips her physician's kit out of her backpack, takes a deep breath to calm her nerves, and administers first aid to Ker'see.

"Stand still, this'll just take a moment!" Mireska mutters to Ker'see as she slaps bacta-infused bandages onto the worst of Ker'see's wounds along with some mild local painkillers. "This still needs some proper attention as soon as we get a breather, so please try not to get hit that badly again!"

Finished with the field dressing, Mireska then hurriedly packs away the kit, turns her shield back on, and retrieves her lightsabre. Thank the Force I decided to get that magnetic weapon tether after seeing Ker'see use it with her bow on Geonosis!

"You're good to go for now, Ker'see, so give them your worst!" she says, turning on her lightsabre and readying herself to reflect more droid attacks.

"Thanks, Mireska," nods Ker'see as she stims herself to keep herself in the fight. She takes aim at another group of droids and releases another grenade. It soars through the hallway and the blast takes the entire group and starts to level the playing field. Knowing that she will likely be targeted again she draws her lightsaber and readies to deflect.

Saber in hand Ker'see uses the force to push herself forward and carries the momentum with her to cleave her dark blue blade through the bodies of three battle droids. Landing from the leap she quickly rises and knocks the blaster rifle from the hand of the droids hand disarming her foe.

His bold attack had thinned the droids out some, and he could barely hear Mireska saying something behind him, but now he had nowhere to go and nothing to hide behind. One of the droids closest to him pointed, and they began to open fire as he tried to swivel his blaster in their direction, but it proved unnecessary. A grenade soared into the group, decimating their numbers, though Condor couldn't see where it came from. The rest of the droids were slow to react thankfully, but the one who'd been hit by the shrapnel from Boomstick's grenade began to open fire on him. A few of the shots missed, but he felt a burning pain shoot up his arm as it took him in the shoulder, ending his barrage as Condor struggled to keep his blaster in his hands.

The droid dropped soon after as the troopers gunned it down, one of the clones adding another Clanker to his confirmed kills. As another group began to turn towards Condor, redirecting their fire from the General's location, his eyes opened wide in surprise. He'd been certain they were about to bring him down when Ker'see soared over him through the air, lightsaber in hand and cutting down droids in spectacular fashion. Clearly he hadn't given the Jedi enough credit.

As the other droids began to turn on Ker'see, Condor returned the favor. Bringing his rifle back to his shoulder with a grunt of pain, he held down his trigger, the Ion shots bringing down three of the droids in a crackle of electricity, and taking the gun out of another's hand. He took a breath and went to aim at the remaining droids as Balyeg reached him, and he held his fire as Titan moved in front of him with his large shield to give Condor some cover. Boomstick and O-3 were close behind, moving up with their blasters out on either side of the hall, ignoring the disarmed droids as they watched the hallway for any more clankers coming their way. The blaster fire had stopped as Sixer took two quick bursts on the remaining droids, removing both of their heads with his precision before the squad Medic knelt down by Condor's side.

" How you feeling? "

Condor shook his head and pointed at Ker'see. " See to the General, just leave me a stimpack, I'll be fine. " Sixer nodded and handed Condor a Stimpack off his belt, before heading over to where Ker'see had sliced through several of the Droids.

" General. Sir. You took some nasty hits. May I have a look at General Mireska's handiwork? " Sixer asked Ker'see, waiting for the General to give him permission.

With that taken care of, Condor could see to other matters, and placed the blaster back in it's slot on his pack, then jammed the stimpack into his shoulder beneath the armor plating. The relief was nearly immediate, and he was glad to have a relief from the burning. At least his armor would have a new burn mark from the hit. With the pain gone however, the blaring of the ship alarm returned, and he reminded they weren't out of the woods yet. " Boomstick, O-3, keep an eye out. Bullseye! See if you can find a console we might be able to turn that blasted alarm off with. "

Mireska picks up her physician's kit and stows it properly this time, then gathers up Ker'see's grenade launcher as she moves along with Binary, Rain, Storm, and Cloud towards the rest of the group.

When they reach Ker'see, Condor, and the ARCs, Mireska hands Ker'see the grenade launcher.

"Do you want me to heal that properly for you now?" she asks Ker'see, and makes a quick visual check of the rest of the party's wound status while waiting for an answer. "Hmm, the same question goes for you too, Condor."

Edited by Bellona

"Thank you, Mireska," answers Ker'see. The devaronian then closes her eyes and focus on the ship around them.

Mireska lays her hand gently on Ker'see's shoulder. A dim teal light shines briefly, and the rest of Ker'see's wounds vanish.

Ker'see can see the routes to the bridge and engineering, Moreover she can see many droids positioning themselves between the bridge sabotage crew and both objects. Whichever path the took they would have to fight there way there. If they moved fast and got lucky on the timing they might be able to get to the bridge by fighting only two large groups of battle droids. That's assuming they didn't take long enough to give other droids suitable opportunity to reposition themselves.
