( @MrTince 14 damage incoming).

The close quarters fighting has proved dangerous to the jedi

Will take three strain to reduce damage by 4 due to reflect and then soak applies reducing damage to 6 overall.

Ker'see, building on her deflection moves over to the B1s and swings her lightsaber managing to take three down with her swings. The prolonged engagement was beginning to take a toll on the young jedi.

He continued firing into the droids along with Balyeg and the rest of the clones, but Condor noted that each of them were slowing their shots. The more droids fell, the more concerned he became with hitting Ker’see. As O-3 dropped another of the droids, the shot ricocheted straight back at them, and the commandos ducked out of the way as the bolt left a burn mark on the wall behind them. With barely any droids remaining, he was forced to hold his fire as the general danced around, downing a few more of the droids. “ Watch your aim Balyeg!

One of the 2 remaining b1's engaged with Ker'see fumbles with a (stun) grenade but slips and drops it. The grenade does not detonate.

"On my six," Wraith orders as he advances down the hall towards the droids. Blaster fire streaking by on all sides, he raises his blaster and draws a bead on the nearest group skeletal of B1 battledroids. Alpha squad taking position along the hall, firing on the droids. Scrap shrugs off a blasterbolt that strikes his chestplate (for 7 wounds) and swings his blaster rifle around from behind his back, returning fire on a group of B1s.

This dang droids! Ker'see screams to herself. They've pushed her longer and more than she would like. She moves to the last droids and brings her lightsaber down in an arc to cut through the last. She sits down among their bodies and sighs. "It is done..."

"Alright men, it looks like you can come out of the 'lift shaft now. You too, Elsee." Mireska called out to her CTs and Elsee as she looked with some relief at the falling chassis of the last two battle droids. Then her brow furrowed with worry when she saw how Ker'see looked almost on the brink of collapse. Letting go of the Force threads protecting her, she hurried over to the Devaronian.

"Allow me to soothe your injuries and fatigue," she said as she laid a hand on her shoulder. Mireska focused, and then used the Force to remove most of Ker'see's injuries and fatigue. "If you're interested, then when we get our next down time I could teach you how to use the natural ebb and flow of the Force to assist you in combat."

Turning to Condor, she asked "You said something about a grenade on the comlink, and I don't see all of your squad. Is there anything that I can do to help them?"

Edited by Bellona

"Thank you, Mireska," gasps Ker'see as she felt the toll of combat leave her. "Let's get through this combat before making any plans..."

Condor nodded his head at Mireska’s question, hefting the shield. “ Affirmative General. Stun grenade got us in the stairwell.

He opened up his comlink as they cleared the area, ordering Balyeg out. In a few moments Bullseye and Sixer were carrying the incapacitated Titan our from the stairway, hanging limp from his clone brother’s shoulders. “ He took the hit for us, ” Condor explainer, recalling what happened in the stairwell. “ Anything you can do for him?

Mireska took off Titan's helmet and gave the unconscious Titan a quick check. She then placed her hands on his head and focused with the Force. Again, there was a brief glow teal-coloured light. Weaving his body back together isn't a problem - but I spent too much effort on that and not enough on reaching the other issue.

Titan blinked when he woke up and tried to catch his breath, but he then closed his eyes again as he started coughing.

She dropped her hands from him with a muttered imprecation in Mirialan. Reaching for her physician's kit, she said "At this point, it'll probably just be easier to use this ..." She trailed off as she pulled out a small jar and carefully uncapped it right under Titan's nose.

He inhaled and then abruptly opened his eyes wide as he scrambled up to get away from whatever was in the jar.

"Ancient Mirialan remedy: smelling salts." Mireska smirked as she carefully stowed her equipment.

Wraith takes 6 damage, bringing his wounds up to 13 but his armor has a bio support dispenser that applies a stimpack, automatically healing 5 of those wounds and brings him back down to 8.

Scrap will use the despair to gain a free maneuver and take cover in the hall alcoves.

The droids return fire sending a fusillade of burning plasma back towards the clone troopers. Scrap deftly avoids the blaster fire but Wraith is struck by the volley, driving him a step back.

His body scorched, his vision clouded, Wraith hears the telltale hiss of his bio-support dispenser within his armor and his eyes clear. Good ole stims he thinks as he ducks into cover along the hall and brings his rifle to bear on the offending droids. 1 Maneuver to take cover, another to aim for 2 strain.

Miss, but passes three advantage onto Scrap and Beta.

11 damage with Pierce 1 against 4 soak=7 damage. Destroys one minion and the triumph takes another. Passes 3 advantage to Scrap.

How do you want to spend the threat

"Alright, we need to get moving again," Mireska ordered.

"Let me check what we are dealing with," cautions Ker'see she steps forward and allows the force to flow through her, granting her sight beyond sight and looking into the bridge...

Mireska used her structural engineering scanner to get a reading of both the bridge doors and the chamber beyond it.

Between Ker'see's vision and Mireska's scan, the bridge team got a clear view of the bridge's internal layout and the positions of its defenders. They also knew where best to plant their shaped charges so that the blast doors currently protecting the bridge could be destroyed.

"Storm, Cloud, one shaped charge from each of you," Mireska ordered. "Then we'll take cover in the stairwell."

Everyone else retreated to the stairwell, and the ARCs kept watch there while two of the clone troopers carefully set the shaped charges on the bridge doors. Storm and Cloud hurried back to join the others, and Storm checked the count-down.

"Fire in the hole!" he muttered a second before the explosives did their job by obliterating the blast doors.

Edited by Bellona

With the blast doors down Ker'see leaps forward to where the smoke is, feeling the force push her more aggressively than she had felt before. A mess of smoke and metal she can hardly perceive anything in the fog and so relies on other senses to help her. In the smoke she makes out what she thinks is a group of B1s and so takes aim and deposits a grenade in their ranks. As soon as it leaves her launcher she can already sense its missed its intended mark and only managing to send a wave of ionizing energy through the droids rather than smashing them with the full blast.

"Storm, I need an EMP grenade set for 30 seconds," Mireska muttered as she pushed her shaped charge over to him. "Take this instead."

The clone trooper quickly set the Mk. II ion grenade's timer and passed it over to her, then picked up the shaped charge. "Good luck, general."

Mireska checked that her shield was on, took a deep breath, called upon the Force, and used it to propel herself quickly down the corridor to just inside the bridge entrance where she landed beside Ker'see. She discreetly dropped the ion grenade at her own feet while activating her lightsabre.

"In the name of the Republic, we are taking control of this vessel!" she declared forcefully while scanning the bridge through the haze and brandishing the teal-bladed weapon. Where the Force is that cybernetically enhanced admiral that Ker'see said was here?!? Never mind, the grenade is primed and it needs to be used. "Stand down and cease all communications with the CIS fleet!"

As she spoke, she was using the Force to move the primed grenade steadily over the floor towards the group of B1s who were actually defending the bridge instead of running the ship. Sithspit. They're further away than the admiral would have been; it's going to go off too early. True to her prediction, the ion grenade exploded at the feet of the very first droid, short-circuiting only its systems. It slumped down onto the deck with a faintly accusatory murmur of "Roger?"

A moment later, something very large, unpleasantly hairy, and far too arachnoid for Mireska's liking dropped down onto her. In her startlement, one analytic part of her mind identified it as a harch, a rare species of vaguely humanoid arachnids. The rest of her mind was just momentarily stunned.

The harch scrabbled at Mireska for a moment before it managed to find a patch of open skin, then it bit down with its cybernetically-enhanced mandible. She could feel the sharp sting of something being injected. Mireska desperately tried to apply the bio-filtering trick that many Jedi used to avoid inebriation, other forms of poisoning, and the like, but she could still feel fatigue starting to creep through her body.

Getting a bit desperate, she started to wriggle as best she could, but to no immediate avail. The harch had grasped her tightly, and was already pulling itself up towards the ceiling whence it had come.

*Along came a spider, and sat down on her, and pulled little Mireska away.*

Edited by Bellona

As the door went down, Condor led the rest of Balyeg into the breach, following along behind the Jedi. As Mireska made her announcement and Ker'see sent a grenade into the droids, Condor didn't waste any time. Opening fire as his blaster grew hot, the Ion shots decimated the rest of the door guards, sending them to the ground in a shower of sparks. In the smoke, it made it hard to see, and somehow he'd lost sight of Mireska. As he glanced around, O-3 burned down one of the droids at the consoles, splashing fire into the room.

Binary, Rain, and Cloud rushed onto the bridge on the heels of Balyeg, and Storm brought up the rear. Elsee, being no fool, stayed by the turbolifts and out of the line of fire.

The three CTs let loose a barrage of fire with their DC-15As, nailing two more of the droids controlling the ship.

Mireska tried desperately to wriggle out of the harch's many-armed grasp, but only managed to tire herself even more.

"Ion attacks!" she managed to shout to the rest of the bridge attack team. That's sure to knock out his cybernetic enhancements. She eyed the drop to the deck. Although the ensuing fall will NOT be pleasant.

Seeing her comrade in distress Ker'see readies the last ion grenade and turns to the Hatch. "Be ready to jump!" shouts the devaronian. The grenade goes wide of her intended mark but the blast wraps around the hatch bathing him in ionising energy his cybernetics drained of their energy. Dropping the launcher Ker'see takes out her lightsaber ready to bring the fight to him once Mireska becomes free.

Blue electricity arcs over the harch's upper left arm and the left side of his face. An " aargggghhhhhssssiissss " escapes him. Moments later he speaks in a somewhat slurred voice... " Stand down if you wantsss your comrade to survivessss " he commands.

[He is speaking as an out of turn incidental and will take one of the slots from the defeated droids later this round]

Edited by EliasWindrider

Condor and Balyeg continued firing into the droids, dropping the last few of them as the Harch bellowed his threat across the bridge. Seeing the General up there suspended by the Spider-like humanoid was concerning enough. After a quick assessment, he was concerned that firing might just hit Mireska instead of the Harch, and he couldn’t make out if his Ion weaponry would have any effect on the man anyway.

He put his weapon away and raised his hands, confident as he looked back to ensure that there weren’t any droids left. “ Balyeg, stand down!”

The Commandos complied quickly, though they seemed to be straining to see what was going on in the haze.

Alright. Weapons are down. Let her go.”

Edited by ShockHelix

Binary, Rain, Storm, and Cloud backed out of the bridge entrance and into the corridor. There they stood watch over the bridge approaches, ready to react if any organic crew or droids tried to sneak up on the bridge.
