Nope, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. That’s the first time I’ve ever gotten a triple Triumph on any roll ever too.

Check if the wording on schematic says it can only be selected once (per attempt)... I think it says that for armor... not sure about the other crafting tables.

This is regarding the double triumph double schematic on missiles

It does not. You’re correct on that for the armor crafting, but no mention of it on the ranged weapon crafting on page 79 of Special Modifications. In addition since no limit is specified, the wording on page 75, last sentence of the 2nd paragraph under Step 3: Construction states “Unless a limit is specified, an option from these tables may be selected any number of times, and its effects stack.”

The table itself has “Schematic: Create a schematic that permanently reduces the difficulty of creating weapons of this template by 1 (to a minimum of Simple [-]).”

So by RAW there I should be good on all the schematics from the crafting block.

Thanks for checking, ok then. Since you're done with crafting maybe you can post in the ic thread.... I think everyone else has been waiting for your 2 cents in the ic thread.

Picked up Side Step for 10 XP (5+5 saved).

@jhh3 please ask your build questions here

You can find spec sheets here

I don't know why a picture far back in the thread that someone posted as a joke is showing up there, but there are links to pdfs of talent sheets in the first post. There maybe force power trees there too. besides spec trees and force power trees you mostly need gear, the subset of gear in the clone wars book is pretty good but oggdude's character generator is pretty good for gear

It's for windows only, it's several books (the common between lines books) behind though.

For a jedi (in order) I would recommend the two clone wars books (rise of the separatists, collapse of the republic), F&D core, endless vigil (lightsaber crafting, pantoran species, cool specs) , keeping the peace (armor crafting, and some cool gear) , unlimited power (for alchemical crafting), dawn of rebellion (some cool character options and the kst-100 executive light freighter, which for most parties is the best eote legal [120K credits or less is eote legal for a starting ship, kst-100 is 120K credits])

The next are your order of preference

knights of fate (for juyo berseker spec so you have all 7 lightsaber forms, juyo is less than stellar in my book and you can also get it via the pdfs, the steelhand adept spec is cool though),

Disciples of harmony (different force tradition mentor bonuses, i think the ebb/flow force power, some good gear, ascetic is a cool spec)

Savage spirits (I forget what's in it)

You might also think of poaching special modifications from eote (lots of crafting),

The bounty hunter book (eote) is particularly good

Stay on target from aor is cool (a pantoran: racer (endless vigil), hotshot (stay on target) sage (fad core) makes for a particularly good force sensitive but otherwise stereotypical smuggler)

Cyphers and masks has armor inserts in them which are particularly good after being modded

The soldier book (forged in battle) has scar talents on the last 2 pages which are pretty cool.

Lords of nal hutta is the setting book I'd most recommend (it's close to a career book in terms of character options, has some really good cybernetics)

Of the 3 gm screens the AoR is the best in terms of readability and the optional rules that come in the adventure book, but the clone wars book reprints modified versions of them.

Thanks! Very helpful.

@Bellona @MrTInce @P-47 Thunderbolt @RuusMarev @ShockHelix will be getting 5 xp this coming Monday April 6, 2020.

@jhh3 the xp award rule is if you make at least 1 in character post n a week spanning monday to Sunday according to the ffg forum timestamp (I'm not sure on the timezone, I'd guess utc/Greenwich) you get 5 xp on the monday after the week ends. If there are extenuating circumstances (e.g. Christmas break or a player being a medical professional pulling extra shifts becauseof Corona virus and had previously posted in the ic thread this would prevent them from posting ic this week), I may award the 5 xp even if you don't post ic that week. At the end of a mission (battle of Genosis, or battle of Christophsis + immediate follow on before a time lapse rescue jabba's son) before a signifant time lapse I may give bonus xp to everyone.

I'm telling you this to explain why everyone who hadn't posted ic this week made a short ic post today. You've got today and tomorrow to make a character and ic post if you want this weekend's 5xp.

Btw we're using a modified version of the jedi padawan spec and I added a jedi librarian and jedi ronin spec to bring the jedi career up to a full 6 specs.

Thank you (I'll probably bank it).

FYI: I just noticed that the first post of the OOC thread has Mireska listed incorrectly as having WT 13. She should have WT 17.

What do you guys currently need for the mission?

The better question is what would you want to play? I can scale things appropriately. We don't have a traditional jedi, but really what do you want to play.

I did want to play a clone, but I would be fine with a jedi. I was working on this. https://swsheets.com/c/o7v6uwjpt-ct-6928--hyper-

How many credits do we get?

Didn't you have a jedi made? I could just be them.

Jedi get 18K credits, a free ilum crystal, and access to a artisan who can add 2 hp to 2 pieces of gear, we've altered the padawan class since then.

That will work! So I can just come up with is personality, or do you have it written somewhere? Who's my master?

The character is a knight, so no master currently. You're going to have to tweak the build slightly to make it consistent with the slight update/house rule to the padawan spec. Family name was shin, given name was ethan but family name came first to follow the convention of a particular Asian culture. The player didn't write up a personality.

Ok. I'll just make him my own! I will update him. What are the new specs? Is the there a talent tree involved?

Btw we're using a modified version of the jedi padawan spec and I added a jedi librarian and jedi ronin spec to bring the jedi career up to a full 6 specs.

@jhh3 follow the link already I gave you in this post, it should amount to replacing sincerest flattery with beginner's luck and valuable facts with sincerest flattery.
