Make the roll for temporary saber on christophsis, finish final assembly (restoration to original saber) on the way to teth.

I'm not quite sure that I understood that. Do I make a lightsabre crafting roll for Mireska (keeping the results, whatever they are) and use the lightsabre which those results dictate until we're travelling to Teth, at which point the new lightsabre is "restored" to the original's qualities?

Yup, you understood perfectly.

Jorin will be learning from his experience so far.. most likely it'll be a lot, so after I figure out how much he'll be able to progress, I'll post everything and his crafting his updated sabers..

I just put a note in the sheet that Jorin is currently -5xp. (If these changes take immediate effect. ) once xp is awarded monday, Jorin will have 1xp. Unrelated to starwars but I need to vent...

Tonight I was brushing my teeth and went to find my 3 year old son to brush his and I found him shredding my Bible. One I've had probably since 1998 but certainly before 2003. It was a niv 1984 revision (my favorite translation) that was old and well used. It originally had a burgandy cover that I had repaired with black duck tape. Some slightly torn/starting to tear pages I had repaired with scotch tape and it had my notes in it. The reason i hadn't replaced it al these years is because I didn'tike the 2011 revision

1984: This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time declares the LORD...

2011: The time is coming when ...

The niv is a phrase by phrase translation but the 1984 niv was also pretty close to word for word (my own comparison using hebrew English and Greek English interlinear Bibles indicated that it was more accurate/faithful than a NASB, which is a modern word for word translation)

I was planning to give my well used and well loved Bible to my youngest son and the cross that I wear to my oldest... this was since before I met my wife, so I was understandably upset when I found that my 3 year old had shredded it. I told my Son that I would always love him no matter what he did.

So I googled and bought 5 of them online from various sellers (3 on ebay, one of which probably hff as someone else's name written on the dedication page). All burgandy, one w iui th a slightly messed up cover. We'll now be able to have Bible studies using the same version when my 3 kids are old enough. So maybe it's a plus when all is said and done, and this way all my kids and I will get my favorite translation of the Bible (yeah I had a bunch of Bibles in different translations probably still do in a box somewhere) ... after I transfer the notes that I can I have to figure out how to respectfully dispose of it... I don't want to throw it in the trash.

It depends. Some put more value on a given physical copy of the Bible than others.

Catholics dispose of Bibles by either burying or burning, if I remember correctly. I find it rather bemusing that burning flags or Bibles can either be respectful or disrespectful, depending on context.

I think it has more to do with how you burn them... for the flag, to do it properly is a bit labor intensive than just tossing in a fire... if I remember correctly, there are steps, separate the stripes, cut out the stars, ect.. and specific way or order to each.

@EliasWindrider , how bad is the shredding? (You could keep it, there is still lot of sentimental property to it still...otherwise, I'm sure you priest/pastor/church leader can advise on proper disposal)

He ripped out everything up into leviticus and tore some many pages into little tiny pieces. This isn't fixable.

Edit: Checking page numbers 66 pages/33 sheets are gone (with potentially ot j.g er earlier in numbered or roman numeraled pages)

Here's the rough draft for a re-build for Mireska (the credits and some other non-build-related details are not yet correct).

Basically I dropped both the Healer and Doctor* trees in favour of the Niman tree and Peerless Interception (attached to the bottom of the Master tree), bought some more talents, and re-arranged a few skill points and Force power upgrades.

She still has 4 ranks in the Medicine skill, which should be enough to qualify her as an experienced doctor narratively-speaking despite not having the Doctor tree.

Between the various Centre of Being talents (which require her opponents to have 3 more Advantages than usual to inflict a Critical Injury on her; the Improved version was bought on the Master tree, not the Niman tree), the defensive Sense upgrades (adding 2 upgrades to opponent's difficulty dice), the slightly higher ranks in Parry and Reflect (plus the Improved version of both), half of the Peerless Interception tree, and a Lightsabre dice pool which is YYGG (instead of YG), I hope that this version of Mireska is a bit more capable in combat than the previous one.

* I understand your point about the good talents on the Doctor tree, but there simply wasn't enough left in the XP budget to justify a tree without FR +1. (Which isn't to say that I won't buy it later.)
