It would cost 60 XP to buy into the Jedi talent trees.
Then I'll probably wait a while before Mireska buys the Side by Side talent. (It's the Knight talent that becomes more effective when more characters use it together.)

I just opened up a new tree (Master specialization in Jedi career, from CotRep) and bought the Centre of Being talent on its first level for Mireska. That cost 50 and 5 XP respectively.
I will not assume that this moves Mireska up to Master rank within the Jedi Order. This is due to the facts that she has not "graduated" a padawan yet and she is basically a recent transplant from the Healers in Medcorps to the main stream Jedi Order. (Although she technically does have a "Healing Mastery" if one counts her Mastery upgrade for the Heal/Harm power.)

Mireska has the basic Move power and is willing to teach it. I believe that that's all that's required for the Mentor discount.

I don't see what you couldn't use it with Improved Parry.
And we see younglings deflecting bolts with training sabers. Why couldn't they deflect it back at someone?

You can use improved reflect/parry with a training emitter.
