@Tramp Graphics , please see my previous post regarding successes for this (frankly I'm pretty annoyed I'm having to explain this again).
To be specific, you check was to seduce the pair, with the further goal of having them let you go. You succeeded the check, which means that they are attracted to you. However considering you are:
- In public at the early part of the city
- Were just a part of a high speed and dangerous chase
- More law enforcement is on the way
- Have footage of the chase that needs to be turned in as evidence
They are not just going to let you go. I am going to remind you (because there seems to be a large sect of players within rpg's that forget this), social skills do NOT equate to mind control. You could succeed on a charm check on a guy in a bar, but if they are happily married they're not just going to throw all that away. That's not how social skills work, npc's are not mindless.
Your check has lowered their guard, and one of them has said he may be able to help when they bring you in, but they are not just going to release you here and now.
You can fight back, struggle, or try and get away on foot, but beyond that you will be heading to prison. Fortunately, the party will soon be receiving a rich benefactor looking to make a name for themselves, so it is likely that they will be able to provide some assistance with this matter.
@Edgehawk and @Shlambate , sorry, I forgot to say you guys are free from the chase scenario now. I will say an average streetwise with a boost (local knowledge of backroads), or an average stealth will get you guys where you want to without other patrols picking up on you. Earth equivalent time, it's somewhere around 1 in the morning (the party runs later if not for corsec), so a few bars etc are still open, or you can head back to the garage, or your respective apartments (as a reminder, everyone has basic accommodation of a quality set around their individual narrative wealth, which is why Sonnray is living it up in the penthouse, but you guys are probably a bit more modest in terms of housing. If anyone wants to share a place with an npc or another pc, let me know).
We are nearing the end of this session, so I'm going to say everyone can take 10 xp. Everyone in the chase who got away can also take 2 'criminal' obligation each for your sins. If you were caught or not involved, you don't have to take any.
