It’s so nice to have you back on the Arkham threads again even whilst you sojourn in Marvel-lands. May the Hulk be with you! I hope it was worth the wait.

I was editing my last comment, when you replied, having come to the realization that you must be Marveling at the moment!

No. Shipping soon notification from FFG last week. I won't see anything until sometime next week for shipping.

Same!

My TC subscription was also charged just yesterday. So many cards... I don't know how I'm going to store them all once Innsmouth starts rolling in.

I use color coded binders with card holders (the clear 9 card see through for binders) and do the following:

sort by color for each binder (so gold cards (dual class) in yellow, neutral in white, guardian in blue, etc.)

i then sort all investigators into their colors and put them on the first page (about to be first and second lol) of the binder in alphabetical order, with their unique cards right behind them (so in the same “slot”)

next I take all player cards by color and sort them by XP (0-5)

then I sort each pile by cost (so 0 costs for first, then 1s, then 2s, etc (I sort X cost as being 1 since I figure you want to at least spend that much lol)).

I then sort each cost pile in the following order: asset, event, skill.

finally I sort by alphabetical order again within each pile and then start filling them in

so it looks kinda like this:

blue binder (guardian)

page 1:

all investigators by alphabetical order

page 2:

0 cost asset with letter A start
0 cost asset with letter F start

0 cost event with letter B start

0 cost skill with Letter A start

1 cost asset with Letter A start

1 cost skill with letter A start

0 cost and 1XP asset with letter A start

1 cost and 1XP asset with letter B start

1 cost and 2XP asset with letter A start

etc.

obviously that’s not how it looks >.< but that’s just an example :) it takes awhile to sort them and such, but when we deckbuild it cuts out a ton of time because as long as you know what you’re looking for, it’s easy to find (also if you have like 3Xp to use you can just easily find all cards costing that) I find it to be the easiest and simplest system. Obviously if you have 4 copies of emergency cache you just put them all in the same slot, and we have a rule of thumb, if you grab the last one of a card let me know and I’ll mark that card that it needs to be bought or copied (so there is always 1 of that card).

I maked this.

The box on the left is all investigator cards; it's about 12" cubed. Each drawer contains the class cards, separated into Asset, Event, Skill, then alphabetically (as seen on the right). The box on the right is for the various campaigns; a fully-sleeved campaign fits vertically in one drawer, along with the pamphlets for the scenario instructions and the "Return to" cards. The bottom drawers are wider for storing decks and campaign guides, as well as the chaos bag and pencils and stuff.

The drawers are half-full of investigator cards, so hopefully this will last me for quite a while.

Are the Stephen Fry books worth reading?

I can't answer that, but surely if you're going to read them, listen to him narrate them instead: https://www.audible.com/search?keywords=stephen+fry&ref=a_hp_t1_header_search

(I knew he read other books for Audible so I looked it up.)

I love seeing other people’s storage solutions. That is a thing of beauty!

I just noticed that Barkham is out of stock, no preorders left. I wonder if that was what was holding up the release. Maybe because of the unique nature of this being connected to a charity, they had to wait until a certain amount were ordered to achieve their donation amount.

I doubt it. If they produced reduced quantities of them, then they probably thought it wouldn't appeal to whole community, "only certain people want those!"

I think it'll be a significant success and will even bring a few new faces to the table. Maybe they'll have to release a cat one after this as an intro product.

My girlfriend enjoyed them immensely. He writes the same way he talks, so they're obviously brilliant. If you're a fan of Greek mythology, they're great.
