Why didn't Boba get his armor back since he knew Vanth had it? He has f***ing Slave I, it should have been an easy task for the bounty hunter.

I had the same question, but we don't know what happened in the mean time, and don't know that Boba knew where the armor was. I'm curious how Boba even got separated from his armor. It went down into the Sarlacc gullet, as well. Perhaps, he went looking after his ship first, as someone probably took it assuming Boba was dead, and Boba would probably assume the armor would be with it.

Maybe Boba removed his armour to treat his wounds (caused by Sarlacc's gastric acid?).

I was talking about that with my brother.

While Cobb Vanth bought it from the Jawas, who presumably scavenged it, seems likely that Boba would have, like, just asked around. There were rumors of someone in Mando armor on Tatooine. Peli Motto knew where to find the dude in that armor, wouldn't have been hard for Boba to find out.

Again, this is just conjecture, but if someone had taken the Slave I, Boba might have just assume the armor was with it, and had to track it down in vast not-Tatooine, that and having to recover from being eaten can take up some of the time without armor. My head canon is that Boba got back to Tatooine to look for his armor, started asking around about anyone wearing Mando armor, and was pointed to Din as we see Boba tracking him in season 1.

I mean, however it gets explained, it's all very... plot-convenient.

That is very much an issue with any form of writing..

There's times when it's better done than others. Rule-of-cool is carrying a lot of weight here.

It's not a big deal, but hey, kinda true.

I assume Boba traded the armor to get a ride out of the desert/food/water.

Those Gaffi Sticks can sure do a lot of damage, can't they?

Given the trouble he went through to get it back I kinda' doubt that.

Yes, they can.

it's better than dying in the deep desert after crawling out of the sarlac. I imagine jawas were all over the barge wreckage when he crawled out and traded to get back.

Just catched up with the show (ep 14).

Color me unimpressed: Bobba fett? Ashoka Tano? Thrawn? Gosh, can't we put such characters to rest and give way to new ones?

Best thing about The Mandalorian was that it was in a new "era" with a clean slate to develop new plots and characters, specially non jedi-related, at least not as central as other SW material.

For all it's good things, I don't like where the series is going... I'm all for Ezra's return and such, but not on The Mandalorian.

PS: oh my, more Bobba fetichism for years to come... should have let him get properly digested for a millenia.

I'm guessing he goes down to a bolt to the head. Semi Indiana Jones sword "duel" style.

If you thought it was gonna' be unrelated to everything else after Grogu helped kill The Mudhorn you're lying to yourself, no offense.

What kind of logic naturally takes you from "the child is strong with the force" to "lets fill the show with fanservice old characters"?

Really, what does Boba Fett have to do with any of the show's premise? Give him his own series and less lame way to get his amor back.

At least Ashoka seems will be a one time appearance...

Dave Folini himself said that the timeline of the finale of Rebels may be AFTER Mandalorian.

So I think that with all the old/new characters that have been bought on screen, the big picture is to take a spinoff with Ahsoka and Sabine at the search of Ezra and Thrawn.

As for Din Djarin, I think his mission will be focused on Grogu. Finding someone who will teach him. I would be more than happy to see Din take Grogu to the Jedi Academy Luke tried to start.

They will literally theme a Monopoly game around everything.

Its about a Mandalorian... Boba Fett, like him or not, is the most famous Mandalorian in all of the Star Wars.

Ahsoka showing up looking for Thrawn is the Nick Fury telling Iron Man about the Avengers Initiative of Star Wars. I don't expect her to take over the show, we might see her again, and the groundwork is being set for an interconnected Star Wars Cinematic Universe.
