You keep using that word.. I do not think it means what you think it means. I think what you were looking for was “half baked fan theorizing troll bait” ?
Truly, the only spoilers I want to see from this show are on the racing craft.

I know in these Forsaken Times of the False Dark Orange Lord Lard Trump, humor comes to us less and less, but my post was just that, an attempt at humor.
We shall redouble our efforts.

The TIE looks like a Advanced V1 to me. Maybe with some extra tech. Maybe the FO TIE Advanced program followed the same patterns, then leading up to the Silencer.
EDIT: Wait, it looks like it has wing cutouts.
Yeah, it does. It's like curvature of a V1 with Interceptor length and cutouts.
Edited by IxidorEveryone freaked out after the first trailers, just had to wait for a more serious one. I'm hyped.
At 1:28 there is one crazy looking shuttle.
SDs at 1:38 look awesome.
Edited by IxidorIt looks like a red Interceptor to me. shrug

Squeee!! Err.. ahem. Looks good.. looks good.
So it seems the First Order TIE interceptor we’ll call it, resembles a cross between the advanced v1 and an interceptor. Looks cool.
It is nice to finally see a definitive new FO ship.
All of these ships are so cool, I hope we get them soonish.

As much as I do want them soon, andI DO.. I would rather they be done RIGHT. Lets see who the pilots are and what the ships fly like before we get them in x-wing. While adding slots or adjusting points can be done, stats and dials can't be changed (barring new additions).
Loving the look of this so far. Oftentimes all you need to buy in on something like this is one or two really great things that make you smile or fist pump.
On my first watch I thought that it was some sort of X-Wing trainer based off assuming the Tie Interceptor was a dummy target at first but seems this will be the new T-85 X-Wing. Have to say, initially don't really love it. Looks like the wings have gone back to the T-65 design so that it is full sets of wings rather than looking to be ones that split like the T-70s, with the ship keeping the T-70s engine pods. Based off the front I'm going to guess that it can likely take a sensor upgrade and its dial will be a bit faster based off it having an additional four engines in the back.
Next up is the new Interceptor and its pilot. Might just be the show's style but seems like the wings are more curved like the Tie Advanced V1s than angular like the OT's Interceptor. Speaking of the Tie Advanced V1 it looks like the new interceptor similarly has a bit added to its pylons like that ship. The back of the craft also seems to be sort of like the Aggressor in that it doesn't have the upper and lower panels that the Interceptor has on the rear panels. I'll be interested to see if they end up releasing this ship in FO Black and White that I assume the standard pilots would fly or in the red seen here to tie the release more to Resistance. Of course, the T-70 is being released only in the standard colors so I could see it going either way at the moment. Last bit of note, the helmet the pilot is wearing certainly seems more Clone pilot than FO Pilot.
To Compare
Lastly, the astromechs. Looks like we have Pit Droids still being used, Hype's astromech seems to have a repulsarlift built into it, T3 Astromechs make a return, and a very classic/80s droid that looks pretty great to me.

The new TIE Sexy does indeed resemble the v1 advanced and the TIE interceptor.
I'm curious what one has to do in the First Order to merit a unique armour scheme. Previously we learned how Phasma got her armour, and the Crimson clad Stormtrooper Trainer Cardinal has his due to his status as a trainer. Perhaps this pilot has a similar role?

Don't forget we see a bronze/gold FO Stormtrooper too. And we know it isn't the lighting as he/she is standing next to other troopers. It might be a 'you have a name' thing as far as the show goes to have them stand out from the rank and file trooper ie throw a pauldron on them and change that armor color and new character asset is done.
Sorry guys and gals, I'm late to the party I know but I've not been playing X-Wing since December-ish 2016 (burn out man, burn out!). I've decided to 'dip my toe' into 2.0, at least when the Resistance upgrade is released (Smaller faction. Less ships to choose from so easier to pick a list and stick with it... And the added bonus of watching my opponents 'tilt' before the games even begun by reminding them of all the scenes from The Last Jedi that helped set the internet alight when it was released! ? ? ). This series has really caught my attention and is going to hopefully keep my interest until I can actually put some ships on the table!
...that trailer is like so much better than the first one, even though there are so many shared elements. Looks very exciting!
Not entirely related to the show, but details came out from the Millenium Falcon ride that is being put into DL and WDW and the story of the ride involves everyone's favorite pirate Hondo Ohnaka having the riders go on a trip to bring back loot and riches. My take away from this, it means that Hondo is alive in the ST era, meaning that we might get to see him show up in Resistance too.

I agree. Looking forward to it.
For those interested, the official Star Wars Databank has some info posted.
Edit: it seems all the Aces ships are customized and scratch built.
