It can help. The main issue seemed more about the turn that they disengage you as that's when the opportunity is lost to attack.

The next turn, you know they are charging, so you know to dial the attack. This is when file leader helps since the late charge doesn't cancel your attack like you said, but then if you are waiqar, they just charge early since they know you have file leader.

So in short it can help you from losing one attack out of two.

Yes. We actually discussed this a little bit earlier in the thread.Though it only really works well for Daqan as the elves can charge at 3.

File Leader and the banner that lets you attack at 3 instead of 4 would work, but only helpful if you have first that round.
