Star Wars Clone Wars: Cyclone Squad OOC

By Rabobankrider, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny Beginner Game

9192 is really good at shooting and should probably join @Kymrel in the breach, likely being the front most Clone since he also has the biggest Gun of the group.

After the roll has been made, feel free to discuss ic your plans as well, as the roll will provide you guys with the additional info to plan with. :)

: 4eA+1eB+2eD 3 successes, 3 advantage

I found a good spot all right

Alright, if @Matt Skywalker wants to emote looking at the map, and @Kymrel helping, I will post what you guys can see and you can all decide your final plan ic.

It might make sense for a summary post from Anler's point of view first. I'll get on that right now.

Too bad we can't use explosives, 9182 loves explosives.

ok cool

IC post is up, feel free to comment...

If anyone wants to make assumptions regarding military strategies of the enemies such as location of forces etc, that's an average warfare check. :)

We should all have decent agility. Let's do the ventilation. Unless I can use my electronic lock breaker on the door to the vehicle bay.

I'll have a go.

Knowledge of enemy forces : 3eA+2eD 2 successes, 2 threat

I'm not sure what I found out.

If we could slice the system and jam the watertight hatches, we could open the floodgates as a distraction- keep them busy while we launch our attack, or flanking maneuver..

Ok @Sterf , you can safely assume that Drummer aim will be to wear the opposing force down on the way to the command network. You expect he will most likely be using regular barriers with only a couple of squads at each. They'd harass the troops before falling back to the next point, trying to seal doors shut as they go to slow the attackers down. There probably won't be many men in the acutely rooms themselves as they focus on holding the corridors. However you have forgotten some info, which I've left out for you guys to find out for yourselves.

Rolling Warfare check in order to determine enemy force patterns.

Knowledge: Warfare [Enemy Disposition] : 3eA+2eD 1 success, 1 advantage

Looks like I succeed, and notice that the defenders seem to be focusing on the corridors, but maybe they don't have as much people manning the corridors as usual. Maybe they have reaction forces in play somwhere?

CT-5472 has nothing useful to contribute.
DescriptionAvg WarfareResults 2eA+2eD : 0 successes [2eA=A/A, S] [2eD=Th, F/Th]

@satkaz , for your advantage, I was actually thinking you might remember what @Sterf forgot as it's only a knowledge check. For that I was going to say you remember that big rooms like the hanger and the fight pits do have a number of auto-turrets, that if the defenders have a decent slicer can access. Sound ok?

Yeah, sure, I'll do that.

@Shlambate you may struggle through the vents, but not so much the waterway

I'll edit my question in to a post lol. Just landed in Chicago so having some trouble.

No worries dude

Updated the post to mention 7777's new Nickname of Clipper.

Hmm, weapon-wise, 9182, 8128 (I assume), and Lana have long range weapons, especially with 9182's Rotary Cannon.

5472, Doc, Clipper, Anler, and 3478 don't have long range weapons, either medium or engaged range ones.

Going both vents and drainage could be an option, as it splits defender focus even further. The problem is that we're much easier to take out in smaller groups. However, it seems like we could have one big group go from the drainage, while a smaller group goes up the vents.

Good point.

I like the name @SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION Just seems a little long for Most Clone nicknames.

Valid point @satkaz , I suggest if speed is important that we all take the waterway then.

@Shlambate , same length a Chatterbox which is an actual Clone nickname.

Also, I still think splitting up with a secondary squad going for main HQ and a third group heading for the turret controls is the best idea.
