• Or non SNR Kylo plus two Engineers plus a TIE/fo... Could be Epsilon for bid, Rivas for extra punch, or TN-3654 for everyone else's punch.
• Kylo + 3 First Order Provocateur TIE/ba fits, as does 3 Gunner Zetas, and PS/Missile Zetas are a lot cheaper... Kylo + 2 Ion/Passive Zetas + 50 points, for example.
• If we're looking at 3 SJE, they'll fit with Proud Holo, or Gunner-only Quickdraw, or you could bring 3 Optics SJE and then 44 points of something else (Outmaneuver Malarus is fun but probably not good enough).

If Baron of the Empire can be 28 points, Phoenix Squad RZ-1 A-Wings can be 27.

Still a feelsbad, especially since it's caused extra learning for new players now.

Wish they just did the whole "Spend tractor to move" thing. Would make non-ensnare Nantexes much more interesting while making Ensnare Nantexes much less NPE.

But I'm not the devs so meh.

Also hot take: French was double-buffed since cheaper PS and missiles help him out a ton.

Last thing: SIX. PROCKET. BOMBERS.

I might be willing to have non-Ensnare Nantex have a bit of fun for a while. It was a neat ship design, once stripped of the massive Tractor NPE.

That said, yeah, this could easily have gone a hair too far. It can always be changed later, and if there's a 6-month season where we have a too-cheap Nantex, this is probably the best one for it.

in fort hyperspace, the hope is scum players get bored of boba and try their other new options, while the continuing covid situation makes worry about competitive play moot

the fear is that boba's worst matchup (cis) has gotten nerfed without anything new that's clear to take its role as the boba bully

Fair. I wasn't really focussing on either. Tools exist to deal with him in both. But with Droids taking a little hit, perhaps, Bobas Hyper power may remain more steady. However, if we now have to worry a teensy bit less about being pwnd by droids, we may have more to explore. I mean, I clearly don't really know

I've never really found flying against Boba to be a negative experience, so those are more the flavour glasses I'm wearing. My HS lists just happen to lean towards being able to deal with him more and droids less.

Same team on this part. Also on first pass it looks like the rest of the factions got some decent buffs as well which is a big factor in how this might settle.

this is most lists - droids just aren't common enough to force people's hands much; most lists could have way better matchups into droids but would make them more oppressed by boba and acey stuff, which is way more common (mostly talking stuff like ship count and not meme upgrade counters like seismics or whatever)

Last couple HS runs I had, 2x Bounty Hunter plus other things. Deals with Boba well but suffers when the swarms just nuke a Spray. Think I won 4/5 against him.

Fun without being massively degenerate. Incredibly persistent killbox!

Actually, I did use Fenn, Dengar and 2 Ion Scyks in one tourney... but got beat by my mates Boba, 2x Skull. Killed Bob though

Maybe. But I've seen plenty of them. We have a couple players locally and I faced a few at the UK SO. They're a definite factor for me most of the time, though they're rarer overall at a lot of the store tourneys I visit on a regular basis.
