Yeah, I'm hoping that large bases get an overall points reduction with the exception of the Jumpmaster maybe?) and Scum Falcon. You'll want upgrades to make them effective, while they have high health they generally have 1 AGI or less. With overall crew costs higher in 2.0, I think that they can safely cheapen up a few chassis.

A-Wings are arc-dodging ships that don't have any pilots at I5 or I6, so they struggle to arc-dodge. This probably won't be fixed until the ship is re-released.

Gunboats because proton torpedoes are good.

Kiraxsvscz, did anyone bring 5? 5 seems pretty solid.

A-wings are the cheapest double reposition blockers in the game. I could see it slipping into a rebel good stuff list if blount isn't your style. But blocking takes effort and the interceptor is just as good of a blocker with an extra attack dice for 4 more points.

turns out you can put proton torpedoes on higher init ships or cheaper ships (i.e. the bomber). I'm pretty sure the gunboat will shine either if we can get cannons to work, or if someone figures out 2e hatchet man.

much like the A-wing, you can pay 4 more points for a far better ship (the fang) OR you can pay 6 less points for an imperial 3 die attack and have points to play with.

Oh, also I recommend watching my stream game - not for the gameplay, a Sabine dial got set wrong so the whole game was a dumpster fire for me, but there was a table mic they told us was off to the general stream but on to the commentators.

They were wrong, it was on to the entire stream, so you can listen to me and Tyler Shaw try to make Alex laugh the entire time we're playing. They broke pretty hard.

A-Wings may just need a point adjustment? You don't need to move last to arc dodge. It certainly helps, but that in itself isn't a requirement.

The tricky bit though... if an A-Wing dodges your arc, do you care? They're expensive to swarm with, lack hitting power and fall part if you sneeze. Lot of fun to use! It's been a bit since I've picked one up though, and after using Z95s and TIE Fighters... yeah, you need numbers to make those work. If you're squeezing a ship in, an A-Wing probably isn't it.

Not super relevant to the discussion, but I quoted this because it's really true and I like it.

I think a lot of people don't understand that "aces" and "arc-dodgers" don't neccesarily need to move last, and in fact, it's a very boring game if your ace always moves last (not to mention impossible to have in any game because of the mirror match).

I would actually categorize entire ship classes as "aces", even including initiative 1 generics.

Players may reference official rule documents at any time. I am allowed to use rules documents and inserts available on the X-Wing web page or in the official X-Wing Squad Builder, or any portion thereof. The data in LaunchBayNext squad list is a portion of the data from the official X-Wing Squad Builder, including the half-points of compiled ship builds.

However, I can confirm Arvel with intimidation is at least worth consideration.

Hilarious, certainly. Very much improved from 1.0. I love that boost into contact. Definitely worth looking at.

Intimidating might be overstating it though...

I'll be at the Walker Classic if you want to drive out here and play a couple of games on my turf. We'll have an honorable joust at high noon as a lone tumbleweed blows past. Silly moustaches, vests, and pocketwatches are a requirement.

I'll be at the Walker Classic. I can be Brunas stand in.

I'm pretty sure @Rytackle said he was flying soont and 2 deltas

Calen said on the B team he was flying imp aces, he said the ships i just don't remember. @Chumbalaya said he played him if you don't want to list to blair and calen shoot the ****.

you're probably better off just tagging people on FB and seeing if they respond.

I got paired with him, but by the time the round started he had left. The world may never know.

Driving home from work in silence the last two days has been terrible.

Help me Krayts! You're my only hope!

Figuring out whether Dion sharked all of you should be priority one. We need to know if you’re using our Patreon dollars to cover your unsustainable gambling debts!

Would it bother you more if they were, or if they weren't?

What? You want actual information? You’ve come to the wrong place...

okay. Go into a list. There’s a drop-down in the upper right. One of them is “calculator.” That brings up a window with the list. Each ship has a little green dot next to it. Tap the ship to cycle to half points, full points, and back to 0, and it totals it at the bottom. Very handy.

I doubt anyone in this thread has strong opinions about Dion that they'd love to express.

Aggressor because IG88-A looks really good, and without Boba could have acted as an anchor with some support.

I've been mucking around with an 88A + 4-LOM + Palob list which has been doing okay so far. But I could just be taking Fenn in place of the Bot, saving 10 points and getting an Initiative 6, repositioning sledgehammer.
