The camera pans to the planet Ossus. A CEC YZ-900 ascends from the atmosphere and pans overhead. Inside Korath Loren sits at the controls, talking to someone over theship's comms.

Hacker: "So, we're finally leavin' that ghost town an' headed back to civilization?"

"Yes, Hacker, and it' not a ghost town. Those are ancient ruins, and very important to rediscovering the history and lore of the Jedi.

Hacker: "yeah, yeah, so what's got you so motivated to finally leave? Not more of dat Force stuff again.

Yes, Hacker. Now, please, I've got to concentrate.

Korath focuses on the Force and enters in a set of coordinates, then hits the Hyperdrive. The stars stretch into speed lines as ship suddenly launches into hyperspace.

Camera swipes to a workshop. Inside, a figure in a sweat-drenched tank top, work pants, and utility belt, silhouetted by the fires of the forge, hammers away at a suit of armor.

With a final stroke, the armor is complete.

Chundarr and Maa't shi'wooker stood just above troops of the first order.

Chundarr: Why do we wait, we could kill them now!!!

Maa't: patience is a virtue, we must wait for the right movement, like now!!!!!

They jumped, and prepared for doom

A storm raged on Kamino. First Order troopers stood out in the rain guarding the outpost. Four troopers tried to get cover from the rain under the edge of one of the large circular buildings. Another four stood in front of the outpost's main office, guarding it's primary entrance. They were separated by a long walkway, exposed to the rain.

The troopers were shocked to see the ambush from above. Their hesitation may have cost them their lives.

They both land. Maa't attacks with his lightsaber

Four troopers,4 swings 4 kills.

Nobody notices the massacre.

Chundarr heads to kill the other four swings and hits. not as much damage as his master, but lessons must be learned.

He learns fast

None die from chunndar, but soon maa't comes and finishes them off.

Not the most moral thing, but as evil as they are, he knew they must be finished off.

Chundarr and Maa't stand infront of the large duraglass door which leads inside the First Orders outpost on Kamino. This main office could contain what they are looking for but will be difficult to navigate.

Looking through the translucent door, the two see a long hallway going deep inside the building. Indistinguishable doorways lined each side.

A figure kneels over a dead Stormtrooper in Timira City on Kamino. The rain and wind whirling around him, spraying off of his shining armor. He looks up into the distance, and slowly stands up.

Whoever ambushed these Stormtroopers doesn't seem to have any regard for life. Clearly they aren't friends of the First Order but they seem to fight with the same lack of honor, only with Lightsabers. Sith perhaps?

Either way, no one seems to know what this place really is yet. If the First Order had any idea about what the Empire left behind there would be a massive research operation under heavy guard. This outpost is nothing more than a refueling station. But if these reckless fools find anything down there, then I cannot let them leave.

He looks around at the place he remembers from so long ago and shutters. It seems like nothing has changed.

The Jedi Star exits hyperspace. Scanning the surrounding area, Korath notices a ship descending to the planet below.

"Interesting" , he says, "What have we here?" He closes his eyes and focuses deeply on the Force, letting it guide him to where he needs to go.

Meanwhile, outside some backwater town in the Outer Rim a Chadra-Fan & Loth-Cat are digging in the garbage at a traveling carnival. The lights and sounds are so overstimulating that it makes credits jump out of people's pockets.

"Eeeee ow ow ow?"

"I don't know Meeko, all I know is that I'm starving!"

"Prrrr oooh."

"I know we just had a Gundark Ear fifteen minutes ago, but my tummy is so so so hungry still! There's gotta be something good around here somewhere!"

Korath guides the Jedi Star into the atmosphere and makes a beeline for the outpost landing pads, inadvertently triggering the base's alarms. As a squad of Tie Fighters ascend to intercept him, he hails them over the comms, using the Force to influence therm, he says:

"Excuse me. I seem to have taken a wrong turn. I have a shipment of grid squares* and lanyard oil* for Timira city. If you can tell me what landing pad I should go to, I'll be on my way."

*anyone who was in the military should get the joke here.

Korath lands the Jedi Star outside of the outpost's perimeter, and locks down the ship.

"Hacker, S2, keep an eye on things."

Korath waits, just outside the base perimeter, watching the entrance for any sign of activity.

"How did you get in here?" the First Order Commander cried.

"Dont worry your hairless human head over it. You want to order your troops to stand down."

Tovera watched as the bounty hunter Jarash pointed the commander's own pistol at him. It was a reasonable question- The door was secure, no alarms had been tripped, and somehow the two of them had ambushed the commander in the heart of his territory. Jarash Reynard was just that good.

"Alien freaks! Guards! Kill-" Tovera stepped foreward at her cue and slammed the human's flat face into the desk. "That doesnt sound like standing down," she murmured.

Jarash continued the aggressive persuasion, but Tovera felt something was off. she had a feeling something was approaching- not a threat, it didnt feel that way, but something... lighter. She turned to the office's security system, flipping through the cameras, until...

"Sir, there's folks with glowing swords out front," Tovera commented.

"Lightsabers? Really?" Jarash tossed the sobbing human aside and walked over. "I havnt seen one of those since Jax ran off. I wonder what they're here for." He frowned for a moment, then turned back to the desk. "Well, doors wont keep them out, so lets be friendly and open them up." Opening the computer, he began to override the door locks throuout the facility. (Computers, difficulty pending)

The computer terminal displays the doors on each floor of the outpost. The top level's doors were easy to open, including the main entrances. The lower levels, past the special elevator in the center of the outpost, were restricted and could only be accessed from below.

From the Officer's terminal Jarash could use the communication channels, including the speakers located in each room. Unfortunately, sercurity systems were self contained and only an outpost wide alarm was available as an option.

Back at the carnival...

The breeze shifted and the Chadra-Fan's nose caught something super interesting.

"Ooooh yeah, I smell something super interesting!"

"Mow errrre?"

"In there!"

He pointed to the gap under the adjacent circus tent. They both scrambled off the garbage heap and shimmied under the tent. And there it was, right before their eyes, gleaming brightly in the otherwise dim light, a trough containing the mother-load. They both looked at each other and squeaked excitedly,

"The mother-load!"

"Eeeeer ooaah!"

They hurried gleefully between some metal bars and plopped down on a warm fur couch next to the trough. They both immediately began shoveling food in their faces. A few double handfuls managed to find their way into the Chadra-Fan's pack.

Then the Loth-Cat stopped abruptly and began shaking. She started tugging on the Chadra-Fan's clothes, trying to get his attention.

"Eeek ka ka ka!"

"What's the matter? Can't you see I'm eating?"

The Chadra-Fan looked behind him on the couch and had to do a double-take. He was now face to fangs with a baby Wampa. His jaw dropped slightly and some food dripped out. He gulped nervously and slowly offered some food to the creature that looked like it could pulverize him in a heartbeat.

"Hi, I'm Koda. What's your name?"

Looking through the translucent door, the two see a long hallway going deep inside the building. Indistinguishable doorways lined each side.

Suddenly, the outer doors loudly unlatch and grind open, opening into the facility. A second door opens deeper in, and beyond it a third. None of the side doors open, just one path deeper into the facility. As the doors finish opening, the rumbling subsides into silence, broken only by the endless rain.

The armored figure, running towards the military outpost on the edge of the city, watched as First Order Tie-Fighters scrambled out of the side hanger. They intercepted a freighter entering atmosphere, and then escorted the ship to one of the landing pads on the far side of the base near the main loading dock doors. As he got nearer to the base, all of the main floor doors started opening simultaneously.

They've been breached already? No way those fools could have gotten inside and sliced through their security systems so quickly! They must not be working alone.

All this chaos is going to be a better distraction than I could have anticipated, but if they are here for what I think they are, then I have to get moving. Good thing I know a short cut.

Getting closer and picking up speed, he saw white armored legs under the nearest armored door ahead as it opened upwards. A covered path wrapped around the building to the right towards the landing pads. The roofline jutted out high above the door and pathway but dropped lower to the left of the bridge he was on.

He shifted his weight to the right. Vaulted over the large crates to the left. Grabbed the lamppost above him. Swung out over the open ocean.

Rain beating against his armor, waves breaking far below.

He barely caught the edge of the roof, hanging with both hands. Rain pouring over the side in a waterfall. He quickly jumped off the wall with one foot while the other foot grabbed the edge. He pushed off and ran diagonally up gigantic dome roof towards the vents to the right.

Across the roofline the landing pads appeared into view, and he could see the freighter docked. Through the storm he could barely make out what looked like a robed figure coming out of the ship. Suddenly, the wind shifted and the rain started pushing him forward, faster and faster.

The Force is with me.

The vent cover had a small opening blown out the side. He didn't have to stop to cut it open.

Must be how the others got in.

He jumped. Tucked his knees into his chest and flew through the opening in the vent cover. He opened up his arms and legs to slow himself against the side walls, but he slipped down into the darkness.

Finally he was able to gain traction on the vent shaft walls, allowing him to control his descent. He passed a loose air register and heard something on the other side. He stopped.

Voices, not human, not First Order. Definitely the ones who compromised the security systems.

He tucked his limbs in again and dropped further and further down the dark vent shaft. Light began to appear at the end. Shadows dancing in a circular motion. The vent shaft curved and opened up wider letting him roll to a crouch.

A large fan spun up ahead. He couldn't see landing on the other side. He slid through the gap. Hung to the ledge with one hand. He let go just before the next blade took his arm off. He dropped to the platform below and rolled to his feet. He cracked his neck and back, and stretched his muscles.

I'm getting too old for this.

He looked down at the vast dark room filled with massive glowing columns of energy, surrounded by multiple levels of platforms and walkways. The eeriness was overwhelming. Chills ran up his spine.

It's time to end this once and for all.

Jarash Reynard looked assessingly at the airvent, then spoke loud enough to be heard in the vents. "Probably someone else after the First Order. If they come in here with weapons, we shoot, but leave them be otherwise."

Then the unknown figure resumed sliding, deeper into the facility.

Maa't entered the building searching for whatever the first order was looking for. He saw something that surprised him. He saw a wolfman(?). He prepared for combat, not knowing if he Was friend or foe

"You probably dont need to be bringing a glowbat here," drawled the wolfman, wearing an advanced suit of powered armor, with crossed rifles on his back, but hands empty. "Cameras say you've been hunting the First Order. If you're after the bounty on getting rid of them, I'm open with splitting the pot. Otherwise, how may a mere bounty hunter be of assistance?"

A second figure to the side looked like some kind of space otter, in a recognizably Corellian brand of armored jacket. It remained quiet, as the wolfman handled the discussion. Also, a human in a first order officer uniform lay bleeding on the floor.

As Korath makes his circuit, his eyes fall on the bodies of the stormtroopers at the front entrance. Stooping down, he inspects the bodies, 'Lightsaber wounds,' he thinks to himself. 'interesting, very interesting.' Standing up, he enters the building through the front door, his senses on high alert.

Maa't looked at the wolfman, he believed him.

Splitting the pot would be good. And as for assistance I would be obliged for someone to teach chundarr, my wookie friend I can tell the force is not with him, nor is it with you.

Train him to be a bounty hunter as I could not
