What about a Trandoshian doctor, the guy is a sadistic butcher who constantly makes jokes about "just grow another hand back... oh wait you can't! Hahaha" but he is actually a decent doc.
Star Wars: In The Pits OOC
That's sounds cool and would make sense since we are in Hutt space.
From Far Horizons. Fitting.
I apologise for a doublepost.

Also, bonus points for always having claws when pressed between having bad 'equipment' and no equipment.
Also, a paranoid Rodian mechanic, who was a part of a crew, the leader of which fell into debt shortly before the mechanic left, and now worries about that captain going after them (if the captain is alive) and getting blamed for that debt, so that the creditor will go after them.
I had an idea, our champion gladiator could be a Zeltron, that would explain why the crowd loves them so much. As for personality I was thinking of something like John Cena whether male or female.
A Zeltron champion? I like that. Perhaps their dirty secret is they are just riding on the coat tails of the other Gladiators, but no one ever seems to notice for some reason
I have thoughts regarding a Clawdite gladiator who changes shape in order to make it look like Bull fights different people, but that may probably work against those people's popularity.

While that would be very cool, the Crowd generally (at least in wrestling) really likes rivalries so the same gladiators facing off would be preferred.
Okay, so my idea regarding the mechanic seems to be unpopular. What are our other options?

I was fine with it, it just seems two of our party members have disappeared for a little bit.
@Revanchist @Matt Skywalker Report in!
A mechanic would work with me

Sorry, been busy lately, just read everything. I agree with the doctor, the mechanic and that champion with high presence
Do people have any suggestions regarding the manager, apart from Richardbuxton's ones?
Sorry. Been running 12 hour shifts at work rn. I'll check in this evening with my thoughts.

Sleazy Devaronian who is out for profit and rigging fights, loves to gamble and is up for everything unlawful.

Perfect

A Trandoshian Doc, a butcher, a bit sadistic, who loves rubbing in that he can just grow back amputated limbs.
A Zeltron Champion, dirty secret is they actually can't fight that well, they just get others to do the dirty work and then take the glory.
A paranoid Rodian mechanic, who was a part of a crew, the leader of which fell into debt shortly before the mechanic left, and now worries about that captain going after them (if the captain is alive) and getting blamed for that debt, so that the creditor will go after them.

So some interesting NPCs there. I would also assume the business has a number of customers as well, powerful individuals who own Pit Figters they send to you for training. This also means you have a steady stream of Pit Fighters coming and going.
There are undoubtedly other trainers in this sector who will crop up as opposition at tournaments, do any of your characters have an animosity towards another Ludus, or a particular Fighter themselves?
No, not me
Well Bull is the Heel of our Gladiator troop and our Zeltron (Female?/Male?) is the Face, so I think Bull would be the enemy of another fighter from another Ludus probably a different Face who I don't know.

Vyrr might have an animosity towards another school. I am planning to try to convince others to take aggressive actions against other businesses, not even necessarily just other ludi.
Edited by ArctanaarTypo. Missed a word I was for some reason sure I didn't miss.
Ok. So I love the Trandoshan Doctor idea, and it would be an interesting dynamic between my Healer and him I think.
Zeltron champion is a great idea too.
For the manager a sleazy Devaronian could work. Or the manager could be a Hutt.
Do we have any need/ideas for a trainer? I was thinking we could do a retired Besalisk who won his freedom, tried to do something with his life, but realized fighting was all he knew how to do so ended up right back on Nar Shadaa working for the same establishment he used to fight for.

Clawdite gladiator could be a member of a rival school as a nemesis for someone maybe.
We could use a trainer but would our GM allow more than 4 personalized NPC's.
We have the Manager, the Champion, the Mechanic and the Doctor. I'm all for the Trainer if we can fit him in.
Oh and since ever NPC suggested has been male let's make the Zeltron Champion Female.
I think 4 is enough, you guys are the Champions and all of you could be trainers. So a decision needs to be made I do love the Besalisk idea, and the Doc. Honestly I think I can use the Devaronian idea in another way and a mechanic will be handy. How about this:
Trandoshian Doc "Butcher" or "Butch"
Besalisk Trainer "Rockie"
Rodian Mechanic "Twitch"
Zeltron former Champion now Manager (she still wasn't a great fighter but her persuasion got her through, now it's even more handy). "Leila"
The Besalisk and Zeltron go way back, the Rodian is a newcomer and no one knows where "Butch" came from.
I definitely agree it's a sausage festival and the Zeltron as a female is an excellent choice.
Please suggest other names, those are terrible IMHO!
The champion, ice
Trainer, no clue
Other than that, I like the names
So the Besalisk showed our manager the ropes back in the day and She became a Super Star even though she really couldn't fight she was just really lucky. Someone from our group (Probably not Bull) started up the Ludus hired the former Super Star and the she brought the Besalisk in.
Bull is likely one of the old guard (Convincing a Hutt to help you takes a looooooong time.) so the Zeltron and Besalisk know him. He probably was the fighter The Champ had trouble with. The both of them were probably surprised Bull could talk since his schtick is being "The Mad Bull."
I think the Besalisk needs a standard name I was thinking Bruce. You know something simple as he's no longer a fighter.
Our Zeltron Manager probably still goes by her stage name. ("Starlight"?)
