I'll use the advantage to help me open cargo latches like this in the future for other ships with type of cargo hold design... Reduce future difficulty IF that's possible. Otherwise, I'll use it to help me figure out a way open them faster...

Uh, how about I notice something else in the "cell" and if that doesn't work, perhaps Caess notices how this cell is different from other imperial cells he's seen.

So first a troop transport is not normally used for prisoners, and secondly its certainly outfitted with a transperasteel divider in what would normally be a cargo hold. This is definitely retrofitted.
