Keywords to search:
If there is a way to utilize this ship quickly, while its status may not yet be fully compromised, I say we go for it.
Also- if we're going to the trouble of copying identifying features and collecting credentials, we should probably not notify families, however well-intended the gesture. Better to leave the special unit's rogue status in question, in case their identities are used as legends in future.
I don't think I can add much to the keywords we already have. Perhaps "Deployments," "Fleet," and "Storage" but that last one is partially covered by "Depot."
I agree we'll probably have to use the ship quickly for maximum chance of avoiding detection, but as shown in episode VI if we can find the right codes we can keep using it. But, without those we'll need to use it quickly if we're going to.
I'll get something up tomorrow
Sorry its been more them a tomarrow. Busy with house stuff i will post with search results as soon as i get a chance.
Ok so sorry for the delay things are really crazy around my place.
Ok so you find many listings of prisoners over the service life of this vehicle. Mostly withen the last few months. However they are identified by codes so other than knowing this ship has had a number of prisoners especially recently its not specific. A few of the prisoners are identified as highly dangerous.
You also don't find anything but passing mentions of rebels or rebellion activity, which is strange considering that a large part of the push into this part of the outer rim is to destroy rebellion cells that have used the low imperial presence to hide and thus launch surprise attacks.
You find lists of equpiment detailing various munitions and weapons for various dates. A few of the dates where you have extraordinarily heavy weapon compliments line up with those prisoners deemed highly dangerous.
You also find a listing for cargo, nothing indicating what kind of cargo, which in and of iself is strange due to imperial tendancy towards documenting everything
Fleet designation is 0, you don't know if that's a proper designation, or the absence of one. Their seem to be no central base or planet. However this ship is definitely housed aboard the star destroyer Purgator.
Squad designations are also simple codes.
If you or someone you show the designations want to give me a hard warefare check you might learn something.
I'll post some answers to the others searches later. It'll take more time to continue searching so that's up to you how you want to use your characters time.

Well, Jaycen has a 3G 1Y dice pool for Knowledge Warfare, given his Imperial past. I can take a crack at it to learn more details, unless someone's got a better pool to work with.
Better than Caess (2G, 1Y), but if no-one is better perhaps Caess could provide unskilled assistance. Providing any additional information that the rebels gave to him about Imperial squads.
Edited by Imperial StormtrooperI'm fine with a boost die, every bit counts.
Wasn't it supposed to be hard? So you may get/need to re-roll.
@TheShard Should it be a re-roll or something else?
It is hard
1 hour ago, TheShard said:It is hard
I think he's asking if you want me to just roll the missing die, or to reroll the whole thing with the right pool.
I don't care, your choice
I'll just roll the missing die, I don't like redoing the whole thing like that.
Missing die: 1eD 2 failures
Woo!
So yeah no luck...
Well I did get 3 advantage, could that perhaps translate into either some other kind of information that we can infer from the data. Or perhaps an upgrade on a later check against Imperial data sources? Being familiar with the format if you like.
That's true... Ok ill give you something, a couple of mission codes reference a similar cargo serial as the mystery load with no attached manifest. With a little bit of hacking into an imperial net you could probably match the pick up location serial number to a sector.
So when you said something would be coming soon, I assumed this was something IC? Are we waiting on a particular bit of input somewhere?
No. I was referring to your search terms. You'll get a bit more information but it would take some time. Ic time. I'll assume that's what you want to continue doing?
What is ever one else going to do till you meet with the ithorian?
Caess would be helping Jaycen with the search, or at least analyzing the results.
Ok are you all planning on staying on board the ship? Or inside cliffside?
Hadn't really thought about it, but if there is lodging, Jaycen would like to not be on the Imperial ship if possible to sleep. He can put everyone up for lodging that wants it. Though he would make sure to lock the ship up before he left, assuming he's the last one out.
Dex will search for a personal log on the pilot's computer. His Int is only 2 Green (no proficiency in either computers or knowledge-warfare). The astromech has Computers 3. Could I point the droid in the right direction, boosting his check to perform the actual search? And what would the difficulty be?
I'm not sure where Caess would decide/want to stay, he would probably hear what the others thought, but he may initially lean towards staying on the shuttle.
