Just so there's no confusion about my latest post, I don't mind anyone taking initiative, the post is just Caess' reaction to what's going on.

Kaz is neither comfortable making decisions for this new group but also wants to ensure someone else doesn't take him up the proverbial creek without a paddle in a barbed wire canoe. If he has to he will step in and lie his pants off to keep things from getting too out of hand, of perhaps to benefit them.

Since I think I've got the best dice pool for fast talking related stuff, and Jaycen is kind of the face man for the party, can I build off Edgehawk's comment?

I was planning on giving this guy a bit of a bribe/gratuity, and just give him some line about how we're just meeting someone here, etc.

Jaycen talked/bribed our way past the reception, and we are by a cantina, with an information kiosk outside.

Yup.

Your inside cliffside. A short corridor leads from the pad, and joins a bigger corridor that opens up into like a central mall area. There is a desk at the center which is the exchange. And there is an info kiosk and a bar... Kind of like an airport bar but way more run down.

Yup. It's like a triangle shaped room. One point is the entrance and the bar goes along the side closest to the entrance. There's a bartop about 15ft long and 3 4 tables, 2 have the chairs on top still as if no one was gonna use them anyways.

I think Caess would scan the area for shady characters (well shady for this place), and for Jaycen's contact (assuming he described her). Once I know what Caess sees I'll put my IC post up.

Technically no, I didn't type out her description, but you could assume it's mentioned in passing while they are standing there having drinks and getting information. She's a female Ithorian. I didn't go into too much detail as we were kind of in a transition scene from dock to bar, and I didn't know if anything was going to happen in between or whatnot. But yeah, if asked, he would give a basic description of her for spotting purposes.

@TheShard did you see what I wanted to do, or did you want me to post something IC then set the difficulty?

Sorry been busy I'll respond ic later today. But I'll say you don't see your contract hanging subs anywhere, no ithorians. However I'll let you make either a streetwise or underworld check depending on what your looking for, and you choose difficulty. But nothing more than hard as this isn't a main port so your only gonna find so much.

If your just looking for shady but not anything specific give me a standard perception check.
