Jailbird and the Desperadoes OOC

By Richardbuxton, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion Beginner Game

Keeping with the Corellian theme I present Kaz's first of three contacts:

V7C-62 "Vee"
Vee is an apparently independent Medical Droid operating on Centre Point Station. It runs a thriving medical treatment clinic "First Point Treatment" that's actually a front for a Cyber Chop Shop, the best in the sector according to Kaz. Kaz has used the Droids services a number of times as he much prefers the treatment of a Droid over species that are actually sentient. No one knows where the former owner of the clinic went, nor who owns it now. But if you're in the sector and ask some of the less scrupulous types where to get chopped then First Point is the likely answer.

A Corellian Demolitionist? I feel like you need the Corellian Compound Bow (explosive tipped). Like those freaking Duke boys in Hazzard County. :D

That's hilarious and you're absolutely right! OK, you be the driver and I'll be the one shooting the dynamite arrows... :) Made the adjustments in my Oggdude Character sheet and will update accordingly... :)

Just checked out Kaimer on SWSheets, and I think you made the right decision with the single specialization, to start. Literally, more bang for your buck.

Yeah if you want to be really good at something from Day One, best to stick to one spec tree, and branch out later.

Thanks, guys! Yeah, I made him in OggDude and then started translating him over and I feel much better about him just staying Saboteur for now. Besides, I can just boost Vigilance as needed for extra quickness when we get there...

So, I hope I'm able to bring as much fun to this campaign as possible and help us all to make Shard's 1st time Running by Post an Epic Success!

My Contacts-

1. Shayna Kallan, Human Imperial Logistics Officer, my beautiful, overly ambitious ex-girlfriend is stationed aboard the Imperial Supply Freighter, Belnar Dawn . She loves feeding me information on her many enemies and rivals in the Empire and thoroughly revels in the fact that sooner or later their ships, garrisons, and/or commands are eventually pilfered, broken, destroyed, or torn down which helps her continued rise up the ranks. Our values are diametrically opposed, our personalities constantly clash, and if we spend more than 48 hours together we can't stand each other.

But, she's just crazy enough to be even hotter and the "relations" are better than pure Lesai from Hutt Space if you get my drift. Our nickname for each other is Spice because we're so addicted to each other. We can't quit each other no matter how much we've tried in the past. Now, we just enjoy it for what it is whenever and wherever we can as we're able.

2. Ara' breth Milekam, Twi'lek Supply Officer, CorMin, Corellian Mineral Corporation. Ara' breth is my beautiful crush that I should have married but didn't because she was too good for me. She's still loyal to me in spite of myself and does her part to safely support the Rebellion whenever she's able. Which mostly means to supply me with explosives, other limited supply goods, and galactic news and gossip that would be put to commercial and industrial uses for CorMin in their asteroid & shipping businesses.

3. Marecial Finn, Corellian Smuggler, childhood friend who used to get me and Dex (he went by another name back then) constantly into trouble. Finn continues to do so as he's the reason why Dex & I eventually found ourselves joining the Rebellion. He's the one who has the greatest connections with the most reward... & often come with the equivalent risks.

I'll post the next tie roll after work I gotta look at what the difficult terrain rules say.

So the tie group slows to speed 4, and they have a difficulty of 4 with three upgrades die to sil3 and extra upgrade due to harsh wind, and a setback die to rain and lightening. With 3 boost for handling.

So when you roll it's difficult terrain rules plus an additional upgrade and a setback.

Let me know how you wanna spend the negatives of this roll and I'll post ic.

2nd chase roll w/ difficult terrain rules : 4eC+1eS+3eB+2eA+2eP 3 successes, 2 threat, 1 Triumph, 1 Despair
c-th-th.png c-th.png c-th.png c-d.png s--.png b--.png b-s.png b-s-a.png a-s.png a-a.png p-tr.png p--.png

I'll just take a boost.

edit: Ooohh! A Despair, too! Hmm...

Ps after this round they might know your avoiding them, depending on actions.

next 3 rounds we'll use the nebula adv/dis table and we'll use the difficult terrain rules.

second round +upgrade and a setback, due to clouds and rain and wind.

Okay.. 2 setbacks.. What is the Difficulty, prior to the Upgrade?

If we're using the Nebula chart, a Successful Despair results in a heavy energy discharge from the nebula cloud, inflicting system strain (2 x Threat). Would you prefer I come up with something else?

How about the despair roll causes the nebula cloud to short out their systems which kills their engines....

Since we're using the stellar phenomenia rules it should be our speed as difficulty so 3 , upgraded by half our silhouette so twice (or the other way around if our half our silhouette was larger). Leading to a pool of CCD before any other modifiers.

So its the stellar phenomenon rules then whatever difficulty add a setback and an additional upgrade. So if your silhouette 4, it would be 2 upgrades plus an additional upgrade.

So I think I botched my roll cause I didn't do half of silhouette... So I have to re-roll....

So.. I should have rolled 3 Reds?

I think you rolled an Ability instead of a difficulty in there, was it supposed to be CCCDS?

Your a monster! Nine Advantage, that's amazing ? Surely our friends crash into each other for a major collision each?

  • Skilled Jockey removes a setback
  • 1 Boost from previous Advantage
  • 1 Boost from my Astromech
  • 2 Boosts from Shortcut

I would love to pull off an Improved Corellian Sendoff with these 2 TIEs, but I'm too good of a pilot to permit them to reach Close Range...

**** it yes I did. I'm a bad gm.
