You mean Robotech. Battletech is another thing entirely.
I do.
As you can see, one of the first things to go is memory.

It's a shame you've already finished it. A red Rebel symbol just under the cockpit seems in order. Maybe the other ones need it.
You can, of course, get all the X-Wing scale Macross Valkyries you want, all the way up through the current generation:

That skull paint job was actually used on the F-14's in squad VF-84. They were assigned to USS Nimitz. They were featured in a movie in 1980 The Final Countdown that sparked a lot of interest in the paint job on the F-14's.
I will add that I think that it is one sweet looking T-70.

I was thinking about it but decided against it in the end. The red of the rebel symbol would have added yet another colour, something I was keen to avoid. Too many colours can ruin a paintjob though admittedly it might not have been such a big deal in this case. Right or wrong however, this is the way the model ended up.

Me likey! Are those really in 1/270 scale and where can I find them?

There have been several squads that has used the skull logo, VF-61, VF-84 and VFA-103.
Robotech Tactics game that came out last year has the orginal VFs you can build I think. Really haven't seen anymore from it since it came out. The minis in there looked to be close to X-wing sized.
Edit
Found an eBay auction with what looks like a Valkyire from the above pic. Says it's about 9cm long which is about 3.5in so a tad too big for X-wing. A series call HG Macross 2nd Mission.

Yeah, see, when i first saw it i was like "Yes! A T-70 painted up like a Jolly Rogers fighter! This is everything i never knew i wanted!" To be fair, JR is 103, not 84, but whatever.
granted, it's still amazing. But i'll always see it as Jolly Rogers first.

They're close; 1/250 scale, and if you google Macross Variable Fighter Collection you can probably find the listings on YesAsia, or (link) Hobbylink Japan, Ami Ami. I imagine you can pick them up for a song. Hell, (link) even Amazon has them.
If you really want to get your mecha fix, there are also a few lines of 1/220 mobile suits from the various Gundam series, too!

I believe they are the descendants of Blackburn's Buccaneers.
Time for another scratch build! This time a Sentinel-class landing craft. I'm mostly basing the ship around the one found in the horrible Star Wars Kinect game, though with the cockpit/bridge in the style of the Rebels version.

There's no official size for the ship. Many sources claim 20 meters though that is clearly bollocks. It just can't be the same size as a Lambda shuttle. A more realistic estimate puts between 30-40 meters in length and my best personal puts it at around 37 meters so that is what I'm aiming for.
I started with the rear of the ship as that would be hardest part. The wings had to move and also be detachable and preferably not damage the paint job in the process. I had to utilise my oversized noggin' quite a bit and the pictures below include an early prototype.
Ooh... this should be a good one.
*Settling in with milk & cookies*
Looking forward to see it IRL
Fully fold able and removable wings.
Macross, you're crazier than a loon. But we still love you anyway. ![]()

Anyway, built the majority of the cargo pod.
Started on the cockpit/bridge. Due to all the small pieces and multiple angles, this is a fairly complex part of the build.
Watching you work is a pleasure. ![]()

Agreed .. 106%
And now there's a larger landing craft one in the Rogue One trailer with four wings!

Slow down there mate, let me finish this one first. Besides, I don't think I'm good enough to scratch build something that it is only visible for half a second and mostly consists of a massive fireball. ![]()
Anyway, basically finished the bridge/cockpit.
Looking very good Macross!
