What is the number one thing you would like to see in X-wing?
Why? We already have recommended 75 minutes for rounds 100pts. I don't replacing the base 100pt format is wise, because that would require longer rounds.
I'm probably in the minority, but I'd like for them to slow down the releases some, especially with new non capital ships. Take some time to release some extra pilots in boosters for the existing ships, or even some more imperial and rebel aces if you really must. The game is developed enough with enough options there isn't a ton of need for new ships as much as there is a need to tweak a few of the things already available.
Who said something about a range 1 ruler?
If you have two core sets, and thus two range rulers, you can cut one of them at the range 1 mark. Then you will have 1 range ruler for each of the three basic ranges.
Easy-peasy.
Funny thing is I bought two sets and one was missing! lol Cutting seems like a lot of work, and I'm not going to pay for Acrylic. Okay, yeah, I would.

How long would the rounds be? 90 minutes?
Rules for theme squadrons, ALA warmachine. FFG would produce a card for each themed squadron with the pilots you are restricted to and new special rules the entire squadron benefits from. There may be a point cost associated with "buying" the theme card if it's particularly good or if the restriction isn't particularly severe.
For example:
Red Squadron: 4 Points
Restrictions: Wedge Antilles, Luke Skywalker, Biggs Darklighter, Garven Dreis, Jek Porkins and Red Squadron Pilot only.
Benefit: When all squadron members are within range one of at least one other member at the beginning of the combat phase, treat all squadron members as having the swarm tactics card. Additionally, if Garven Dreis has the squad leader elite pilot talent, he may use it as a free action.
Prequel Ships
Thank you. though I believe that Prequel ships should be a separate game. Totally different time frame. Just my humble opinion.
It's twenty years! The technology in Star Wars has been the same for at least 1000 years (see Knights of the Old Republic), as if 20 makes any difference.
Gial Ackbar - When attacking the ship containing Gial Ackbar, the attacking ship cannot use abilities that trigger from firing outside the targeted ships firing arc.

Oddly enough, it's this exact attitude that keeps more ladies from showing up.
If you really want to meet the nerd women, become a fan of Roller Derby.

Or Burlesque. I knew a few girls in Philly that have a troupe called D20 Burlesque, and another group called the Rigor Motis review that do all scifi/horror/fantasy themed buresque.
It's amazing to me the shear number of lady nerds who express their nerdom in a way that deliberately minimizes their contact with dude nerds. Mostly, from what they tell me it stems from a desire to not be treated like an exotic and foreign species. And also a desire to have their presence in nerd space being proof of their interest in nerd activities.
Anyway. Sorry for the rant. I occasionally go off on **** fool idealistic crusades.
