I'm still planing on being at RIW on Thursday. I want to try out my new Lambda.

On another note, I'm trying to find a table to play on at home and try out different squad setup by myself. It appears however that a 3ft X 3ft table is hard to find.

RIW on Thursdays is tough for me because it means I would have to leave the lab early to get out to Livonia by 6, and then I would be hungry not long thereafter. I'm still trying to figure a way to make RIW work in my schedule.

I do plan on gaming in Ypsi this Saturday. I think we should try to make Saturdays in Ypsi a thing if we can convince enough people to participate regularly.

Taco Bell's drive though is a great solution to the hunger problem. Plus, if you're playing against Johdo, you can totally take 20min to eat and still have plenty of time to setup your squad before he finishes setting his up =P.

touche good sir. It never ceases to amaze me how long it takes to get a **** squad ready to go. And you would think i would be quicker at it! *sigh*

On a side note, unless it's like some random Saturday where the wife has disappeared, my likelyhood of making it out to Ypsi for Saturday games is pretty slim. Through the week is all good, and an occasional Sunday seems to be ok. Something about Saturday that's all taboo. Could be the hormones? Lord knows i have learned not to push the bounds on a pregnant woman, that's for sure!

I am subscribed to the facebook group but, tbh, I never used facebook much before. I would be interested in going this weekend, however it is currently 50/50 if I will have to work instead.

I checked out Flat Land Games in Wixom last night. They have a ton of tables and are open till 10 or later every night.They only have X-Wing scheduled for every-other Fridays currently but they have plenty of space if we want to get together there one night. For me, Flat Land Games is super convenient. It is 5 min from my apartment and right on the way home from work.

I'm game for playing this weekend in the same space if we have 5 or less people. I'm reaching out to the gaming student org on campus (there are a couple people interested in X-Wing) and the event planning office to see what is available for a regular venue with more space. Depending on the options, I hope to put together a larger scale tournament possibly next month.

YES! Yes I can! Finally! I'm stoked to get another game in. They're moving LCG back to Thursdays as well for anyone that's interested in both.

There is a chance that I may actually be able to make it this week, but in any event I will probably be a bit later than 6 PM. Does anyone know if the guys over at RIW mind if we bring food in? I was thinking about picking up a Subway sandwich on the way.

Go ahead and bring in food. If you noticed, I had taco bell at the tourney. And the 40k guys always take a mid-evening break to go get (and bring back) McDonalds.

So, I'm out of town this weekend, and next Thursday is Halloween, which I plan to spend at home so I can see all the trick or treaters. So I won't be showing up to RIW until November. I might have to see about doing a one off on another day just to get a few games in - if anyone is interested.

On another topic, in case anyone needs a TIE Fighter expansion, B+N in Royal Oak has two in stock. No TIE/ad, T-65s, or BTL-4s. Oh well.

Yeah, sounds about right. Tis the start of the season when life and family start to control your free time. If it's far enough advance, I could prob swing a weekend to make up for some upcoming Thursdays we'll be missing.
