Looking at a map, I would think Eternal Games (Fridays) in Warren would probably be the closest. The second closest option would be RIW games in Livonia (Thursdays).

I'm out for tomorrow. Family is coming into town for the weekend.

I went to RIW. There was a total of 5 people. Which isn't bad. I will be sticking to Gamer's Gauntlet on Hall road on Tuesdays and Eternal Games on Hoover in Warren on Fridays. See you then.

Well... I will be playing the Edge of the Empire Star Wars RPG at FF Sunday. But sadly no X-wing that I'm aware of.

Regionals...

So folks, what do you think the chances of us trying to get Regionals at one of the local stores? I know it's a long shot since we'd have to compete with the Chicago metro area being in our Regional.

But when a bunch of us went to Canadian Nationals the guys running that tournament stated that a bunch of the stores in the Hamilton Area combined forces to win the previlege to host the tournament. We have a handful of stores around here, do any of you have the ear of the store owners and maybe see if they could pool their resources to hose the tournament together at either the facility with the most seats or perhaps a neutral off site location?

I know at Canadian Nationals the stores went together and rented the equivalent of an American Legion Hall.

Last year's event at Epic Loot near Dayton was fun, although i would prefer something much closer to home as my ability to participate in a regional will be limited at best.

Pandemonium's new store has more than enough space to host a large event, although i doubt they will put in for it seeing they don't really have a weekly night to play (at least if they do, i don't know about it).

I would expect RIW's new hall (and old for that matter), Flat Land Games, and Eternal Games all have enough space to make a viable push to host a regional. Especially considering Epic Loot could barely host the 40 of us that were there last year.

I think it would be great if eternal could host regionals. They have one of the most consistent showings every friday and u wouldn't doubt if they have close to 30 or more for their store championship. They have enough space. I'm going to talk to the store next time I'm in there.

Yeah, first few rounds did feel a little crowded for sure.

Just playing. The closest I'm coming this year to TOing is I'm the secondary TO at AFK games in Lansing on 2/7 at 11am.

You going to be able to make it to some SCs this year Johdo?
