Anyone going to be at RIW tomorrow or is everyone leaving for GenCon?

I can go to RIW tomorrow. I was thinking about going to Eternal, but 3 miles is a lot closer 30 miles

RIW and Eternal are equidistant from me so wherever you all want to play

Maybe. Confidence is building, but I still have that, "this is scary and new" feeling. Maybe another night or two of play between now and then will get me there.

Cody and I are planning on Eternal Thursday night around 5:30 or 6, come get some practice in!

My friend and I will be up there around 430. Does anyone know where I can get a non-expensive play mat, Eternals is $40... Is that the norm?

gminor knows a lot about this so I'd suggest you talk to him. I think his office makes vinyls signage or something and he has made a couple of mats I use.

I am running a lil late to get to Eternal .. but that is still my destination. The friend going with me runs the Heroclix tourney there, so no chance of us switching venue

Just a reminder about the tournament this friday at Eternal. 8/22 6:30 start.

They managed to score some prerelease wave 5 ships at Gencon so they will be up for grabs this friday. This may raise the entry to $10 however depending on the number of participants. It really depends on how many people show up.

They have a Decimator, YT-2400 and a Rebel Aces set.

We'll want to get started right away so fill out your build sheet ahead of time.

Dang, I already was bummed I can't make it this Friday, and now it's even worse with the new ships up for grabs. That's pretty legit. Sky word on the rebel aces tourney they were talking about? Going it's the 5th instead of the 12th.

After the tournament on Friday, would anybody be down for an Epic team scenario game?

Maybe 300 points of imps trying to shoot down 2 rebel transports with no upgrades escorted by 300 points worth or rebels, maybe 100 points for a corvette and 200 points for fighters?

The goal being the rebels must fly the ships 6' across a 3'x6' area and the imps have to blow them up.

Id be down for epic games, but corvette could use a good dusting
