Congrats on the kid, sad to see you go. I share in mlbrogueone's sentiment, when ever you have a random night and want to play ships to borrow are not hard to come by.

Best news I've heard all day! Off topic... the phoenix rising persons (keeping it PG13) tried to tell me that they've already sold out all THIRTY TWO of their seats for the regional... wtf? Though luckily, I said I was going on FB, so they put me down as one of those 32... But I was pissed when I called them today and found out it was sold out at 32... Still kinda pissed... *Shrug... At least that means I just gotta be in the top quarter to win me my dice!

In truth, Gminor7 and I usually close them at least an hour late normally. I believe that is the goal though, run the tourney up to midnight and then open stock up for purchase like a midnight sale for a video game with the winner(s) able to use their credits towards a ship.

FYI, I'm not going to be able to make it out to RIW tomorrow. *sigh* This work thing keeps getting in the way of this playtime thing.

I'll be giving away some star field maps tonight at Eternal. I have 2 of them so I'm offering them up as door prizes to 2 random attendees. They are 13oz vinyl, very durable and weather proof for all those games you play in the snow and rain.

Casual release tournament was small but fun last night. My daggers took first place and a phantom for their troubles, Gminor7 ran a nifty tie swarm with some relentless die rolls (no seriously... He rolled seven evades back at me in two rolls, the dice love him) that gained him second place, and our most recent addition to the Eternal family Jaekat came in third after a few valiant efforts which included a modified loss to me after clipping an asteroid that could have been the death blow as time expired. All in all, allot of fun, and I feel like we are getting much better at the tourney format so I look forward to some more events with a little bit more advanced notice. Jaekat also walked away with a space mat via Gminor7's offering.

Anyone interested in doing a Detroit Cup of sorts between maybe three or four stores players as a team? It seems as though we are all separated a bit regionally. I thought it might be interesting to set up events where the top four players from each of the stores host and play one match dog fights home and away with a rotating trophy being housed at the winning teams store until the next winner is crowned after a season of doing so.

It shouldn't come as any surprise that i won't be out at RIW tonight, however with my Wave 4 in the mail i was going to angle to make it next week. I realize it's the day before a holiday before what will be a long weekend, but my odds of making it that day are pretty good.

Actually, I have a chance of making that one! And since it's a holiday the following day, I can stay as late as the store will let us. Given, that's like 6 days away, and we all know how much schedules change in that time frame.
