Some how my range rulers made the rounds at the tournament. I think I ended up with someone else rulers because mine didn't seem that bad off until after the tournament. I've been thinking of getting some of the acrylic ones from LTKO. Anybody used them or have them? Thoughts?

Yeah, spent the last two days dissecting what mistakes I made and what I need to do better next time as well as how I would have approached the winning build. I think I flew pretty well and had a sound build and strategies, but in just a few weeks everything changes right? Out with the old in with the advanced cloak. Lol

Both Basementcuts and I have Transports and Tantives, so we can do something crazy if you want. 300pts and 5 epic points. I kind of want to run a 300pt Imp build. Aces, Vader and Boba!

How early can you be there?

Last time I played a 300 point game it ran from 7:30 until like 10:30/11 PM.

I can be over there around 6 PM

I'm going to try to make 6:30.

After downing the transport fairly early, the Rebels ended up victorious after about a 3 and half hour game.

I flew something like 4 bombers (3 scrubs and Jonus), 5 interceptors (3 scrubs, Carnor, and Soontir), and 1 Firespray.

Basementcuts flew 3 B-wings, Han, Transport, and CR-90.

If I had it to do again I would have positioned my guys much differently and maybe reduced the amount of ordinance on the Bombers and replaced the Firespray with 3 or 4 more regular TIE Fighters. I also could have flown in a much tighter formation.

All that said, the game was really fun. It felt more like a real epic space battle as opposed to the typical 100 point tournament style show downs.

In related news, who all is going to RIW tonight? And do you want to try out epic games or continue with 100pt games? I'm fine either way, I have two lists I'm developing for my final (unless I decide to go to Chicago of course!) regional so I would be happy trying them out... But I also have all this new shiny bling in the form of huge ships that I want to play with...

I'll likely be there tonight provided my brake inspection goes okay. I'm up for any type of game, but fielding 300 points of Epic on the imp side may require a few loaners. I'd be happy with just 100 pointers for now.

My first Epic win may have a Barry Bonds-esque asterisk next to it... More to follow after some healthy debate elsewhere on the forum regarding use of the WED Repair Droid.

Any idea if they are running Epic at Regionals going forward this year? I'm imagining it taking an entire weekend if they do.
