I'm out for the week. I'll be at Eternal for the Monday game nights going forward Unless something random comes up. Good games this week, and much needed tourney format practice.

Had my first cup game last night... I did poorly in the middle of the game, to such an extent that a more skilled player would have put the game away. But I recovered and ended with a 100-50 win.

First round I killed Biggs, and he brought my dagger down to 1 hull, and then proceeded to K turn in front of it... And I crashed my X wing into my A wing (after debating over the boost or not for like 2 min but decided against it since I knew Dutch would crash into the A if I boosted) by literally 2 pixels, and of course, that was on a K turn. And the Dutch crashed into the X wing.

I failed at ionizing his stressed B wings and I think my A did a damage or two to one of them, and he brought my X wing down to 1 hull. I knew that he was going to have good shots on Dutch the next turn, and there was no way for me to get a shot with my X, so I did a 3 turn and left him dangling with 1 hull at R2... he ended up being the target of all 3 blues (of which, two were action denied because they were stressed and couldn't use advS and I was right in front of them with my A Y and X) and finally the 3rd one killed him. But my Dagger kept using advS to focus, and then get R1 shots on his Bs... by this point one was down to 1 hull, another was ionized (he was confused why I split up fire isntead of killing the one).

And then the A failed at sneaking in, so he ended up not moving, which caused dutch to run right into the A, setting up beautiful R1 shots on both them, while I failed at having a shot with the A. My dagger killed one of them, and I ionized the other, but dutch was brought down to like 3 hull. So the A bugged out, and my dagger ended up finally being in the cross hairs, dutch passed him a TL and took another ion shot on the one (it was pointed to the edge of the board) my dagger shot at the uninjured one, did quite a bit of damage, and then was killed. Dutch managed to arc dodge the ionized one, and was brought down to 2 hull from the other, the A wing circled back to have a R1 shot on the ionized one, and dutch got behind the full health one and ionized him (towards the edge of the board). He had no shots.

And then we moved, and my A had a R1 F+TL shot on a 2hull Blue, and dutch had a TL on the other blue, at like 2 shields, but Dutch was behind him escorting him off the board. He then conceded before I got to blow the rest of his ships up.

Note: As I write all of this, it's not quite lining up in my head with actually happened. But if you're curious, you can watch the log file of it. It's posted to the main divisional page (not the Belkalda division though).

Fun 4 All will be having their Imdaar Alpha event on Sunday, June 1. It starts at noon.

After sitting in 1.5hrs of traffic last time, I think I'm going to pass on heading up that way after work from now on. Though I understand some people are trying to get a Fun4All Monday night thing going on... anyone know the status on that?

Off topic - For those that may have been interested in carpooling to Ohio, it's looking more and more like my girlfriend and her friends are going to tag along and make a weekend out of it, so I'm thinking that the offer is no longer valid. Given of course I probably won't know for sure until Friday afternoon knowing her =/.

Usually arrive around 7pm, playing by 8pm. For the most part it doesn't have to be Monday, they have allot of space even with MTG going on. I'd like to see if we can run another tourney with their old OP stuff if we can coordinate more people. Can you attend Thursday, maybe we try to get a smallish tourney then with Gminor7?

If I'm available Thursday, I'll probably be going to RIW, but thanks for the info. Keep me posted with what you're schedule is next week.

Hey guys. I just finished the drawings for the X-Wing table toppers. I'm hoping to get two of them made in the next month. They'll have interchangeable star maps and side ports for cards and accessories. The only thing I want to make sure about before I start is what dimensions do you guys prefer for the star map? I can make it anywhere between 3'x3' to 4'x4'. It can be square or rectangular. Thanks guys.
