I might be up for Thursday at Eternal Games, but it will depend on how much work I get done this week. I should know on Wed.

Shenanigans now has reserve slots open again for the AIA event. We're hard capped at 16 players do to space, but are exactly at 16 now.

And where does one sign up at Shenanigans? I don't see it on Shenanigan's calendar, and I haven't seen any signup posted here... Yet apparently 18+ people have already signed up, so I feel like I'm lacking info somewhere.

There are no other confirmed Sunday events. So unless F4A confirms a Sunday, I'm for sure interested in going to Shenanigans.

Oh, and Gamer's Gauntlet is Saturday at 1PM according to their website.

I tried to convince Pam @ RIW, but she said that Friday was Magic night... And they didn't have any space to run X wing... She also said that every store in the area has the same problem on Friday night =/.

Wow, I had no idea magic was such a big thing that they couldn't even spare a couple tables. Shows how out of touch I am I suppose.

I've stopped by their store and I know they have relatively little space, but I haven't come across any other tourney in the past year that's required preregistration... and the only one that's its even mattered at is the Ohio Regional for the Luke alt art card...

In a place with a larger space it isn't an issue. I would just hate myself if we announced, then did first come first serve, then had to tell someone to go home because we're out of space. Especially if said person traveled really far to get to us. I also hate the idea of cramming more people into a room than it can comfortably fit just to make an extra buck or two. 16 seemed to be the best number for the amount of space.

Announcements went out from FFG on a Monday. I went in like normal on Tuesday to put up the announcment. In talking to the X-wing group we filled up instantly with reserves. It was at that time I didn't want to post anything special simply to tell people "Yeah, we're running, but you can't play because we don't have space for you."

I fully intend to use here, and Facebook, and everything else to keep people updated on reserve slot shuffle. You will not probably see a calender event posted though because that might cause people who don't actually read the Facebook posts, or here, or any of the other multiple places I post the reserve status, to make a long trip to the store just to find it packed and them not be able to play.

I'll put both Khyros and Johdo down on the reserve sheet when I get in, just please call up there after 6 when I'm in so I can get your actual names down.

Good thing i got my ship notification before i left work, or else i would have stopped (it's on the way).

I just called Epic Loot and asked if they were doing Pre-Register or not for X-Wing. The guy that answered told me that they were looking to cap at 65 (i think he meant 64) entries and i should pre-register if i wanted to be guaranteed a spot.

Just putting it out there in case anyone is thinking about going, you may want to sign up now...

Shenanigans will have none extra. We ordered 16, we got 6. We had special orders for 8... **** you allocation.
