works for me. it's installed, i just need to figure out how to build a squad in there and save it.

Also, if anyone wants to trade a stock X wing for my Wedge repaint, let me know. I'm planning on painting a Wedge again, so I'm going to use the same X wing if no one wants it. It was the first thing I painted, so it's not that good, but figured I'd offer since Mr.Hello mentioned he'd give me his X wings to paint if I needed something to paint.

We'll talk on Thursday about that Khyros. The only one I have that has straight cannons has a really bad paint job anyway, so I'm not opposed to a trade.

Anyway, I'm going to try to make Shenanigans tomorrow again depending on what they're doing if anyone cares to join me. I'll let you know for sure when I confirm they're playing normal games.

How does the campaign work exactly?

What changes would occur if we were to join the campaign late?

For those of you who might be interested in car pooling, here is my tenative store champ plan... I say tentative because if I win one, I'm unlikely to continue going to more, especially the 3hr drive ones. Furthermore, there are still a few stores closer to home who haven't set a date yet. If anyone comes across store champs that are on Sunday, let me know!

Feb 22nd - Mr. Nice Guys Games, Monroeville, PA - Can't carpool here, I'm going to go spend the weekend with family

March 1st - RIW Hobbies, Livonia, PA - Not carpooling here because it's only 20min away

March 8th - Epic Loot, Centerville, OH - 3.5hrs away, definitely up for a car pool here

March 15th - RIW Hobbies SWLCG - Again, not car pooling 20min

March 22nd - Patrat Comics, Hilliard, OH - 3hrs away, defininitely up for a car pool here

March 29th - Fanfare, Kalamazoo, MI - 1.5hrs away, I would be fine driving alone, but fine with a car pool as well

It's still in development, but it started like this:

Everyone got to buy one ship at 22 points or less, you could save the points you didn't spend. You then played a game against another person and tried to accomplish up to three objectives that could be worth 1 or 2 points. Each objective accomplished earned you 15 build per point to add to your fleet. You could also buy a named pilot by spending 15 build to unlock them each time you wanted to buy one. Pilots and ships could be lose depending on a die roll if they are destroyed in a game. Games are only 8 turns long so go fast.

If you wanted to join in late I don't think that would be a problem. We'd probably just figure out where the average build is at then let you build up to that point. We had 10 players last week and it was pretty well received, even though we're still working on the finer details.

Currently I think the top fleets are around 110 points or so, so I'd imagine you'd build to around 100, but I'm not positive on that as I'm not the one actually running it.

I don't suppose we can persuade RIW to change the date on that can we? It's looking like I won't make it to that. If worse comes to worse, I'll send a buddy in with HSF and see if he can't pull off an upset. Other than that, I'm definitely up to carpooling to K-zoo, and one of the Ohio games. I can drive one of them if you want, though my car only comfortably fits 4.

My summation of it is it's like the prospect of trying to eat a steak but all you have is a plastic spoon. Looks like a delicious easily devoured meal, until you try to cut off a piece.

a4rino - is your car fixed up? No lingering effects from the crash? And I realized when I heard the story from your passenger, that it was a bit ambigious as to who "he" was when he said "he ran a red light and we got tboned." Which one of you ran the light? Thinking back, I want to say that the other car ran the red and you tboned him - it would explain more why the airbags didn't go off, though I suppose it could have been the opposite - you ran the red and he tboned you.
