False tranponder codes - Good for the game?

The laat pretty much just flies where is can and rotates if it needs to to get arc. Put it in the middle, 2 hard around and rotate if needed. You will get arc on an enemy.

Predator yes, but the ETA doesn't play well with the LAAT as it easily out flies the support area of the ugly slug.

Given that the relative positions between the Eta and the LAAT can be all the way out to range 6 while having Fire Convergence still work, I don't believe you.

Not realistically though. Best you can hope for is to flank the Eta around your opponent's before your opponent pounces the unprotected LAAT. It's why the LAAT/Warthog works best with slow moving V-19s and Arcs as they can work in formation and mutually cover each other. Even though I still like Sinker more than any LAAT. And Sinker isn't predicated on keeping a target in it's low Init arc, and the arc of another ship.

Sinker is worse in that Sinker will make less than optimal maneuvers to keep friendlies in the side arc. Sinker often sacrifices time on target to enable rerolls. A LAAT onlys need to point in the general direction of the enemy. Rerolls for Sinker are limited to range 2 in the side arcs of his ARC, but are unlimited and 1 die. Rerolls for LAATs are limited to range 3 of an enemy in the LAATs arc, but limited to a maximum of 2 and with 2 die.
