There is Droid shenanigans in your future! ( now to talk P-47 into allowing droids giving Boosts/Advantages when used to help craft things!)

I'm going to regret telling you this, but there is the Unskilled Assist Maneuver which adds a Boost, and the Improved Speaks Binary talent adds an additional Boost.

What do you want to spend the 4 Advantage on?

Had to give that some thought.. I think I'll go with Armor Plating and Reinforced Chassis. (3A/1A)

Okay. That'll stat him at 3 Soak and a WT of 6. Sil 0. Which Characteristic do you want to reduce? He's got flat 2s except in Br/Ag.

What Directive do you want to try to use?

I believe that’s technically possible by the way, per RAW.

Yeah. Repair Directives with a specialist chassis gives it a mechanics skill of two, which I believe qualifies it as capable of assisting with crafting checks (assuming you build it for the correct mechanics skill.)

Repair Directives: : 3eP+3eD 4 successes, 1 Triumph

huh..

I think I'll use the Triumph on putting Computers to rank 2.

I'm going to name the Minion model a "VT-0" and the Specialist model "VT-1" (Vutyc Tomad / Special Ally)

You used the base WT/Soak stats for VT-1, his Soak should be 3 and his WT should be 6. You also need to pick a Characteristic to reduce.

Fixed

How many Mono's are needed to be a Minion Group?

Any number over one. If you get 3 total, they'd have a dice pool of 1P+1eA, so you probably would want to go for 4 total.

I'll let you program/build them as a group, so you just need to have the additional expenditure of credits and then make a check to program them.

So, build three other mono's and one program check?

Actually, yes. My original intention was for you to gloss over the building since any improvements on the droids would be hard to handle, but as long as you only spend the Advantage/Triumph on bonuses for future checks (schematic, Lessons Learned, etc) it should be fine. Then one programming check.

ok!

Buliding VT-0/2: : 3eP+2eD 1 success
p-s-a.png p-s-s.png p-a.png d-f-th.png d-f-th.png

VT-0/3: : 3eP+2eD 3 successes, 2 advantage
p-s.png p-s-s.png p-a-a.png d--.png d--.png

(Lessons Learned) VT-0/4 : : 3eP+1eD 0 successes, 1 advantage
p--.png p-s-a.png p--.png d-f.png

sigh...

2nd Attempt on VT-0/4 (Practice Makes Perfect) : : 3eP+1eB+2eD 3 successes, 1 threat
p-s-a.png p-s-a.png p--.png b-s-a.png d-th-th.png d-th-th.png

And Tam gets 3 strain before the game begins...

You can go ahead and call the Strain a wash.

What do program do you want to use?

I'm kinda thinking Labor Directives.. that'll give them 2 ranks in mechanics.. which will help with the assembly of the new ship/repair vehicles/help other PC crafting.. correct?

(Would Repair Directive be too much?)

Yes, but it gives it to them as a group skill, not a ranked skill.

Either Labor Directives or Repair Directives would be fine. If you go for Labor Directives, you have more Advantage potential.

alright... Labor Directive programming: : 3eP+1eD 1 success, 4 advantage
p-s-a.png p-s-a.png p-a-a.png d-f.png

That's a really good roll for crafting!

shame Adaptive Programming doesn't apply...

Well, Broad Utility does. You could pick up Computers.

2 Mechanics & 2 Computers?

That works, it'll help everyone's crafting/programming.

It would actually be 3 with all 4 working as a group.

3 mechanics/3 computers? niiice... (you'll have to tell me the pool when we start, so I can learn about minion group interaction :D )

Minions gain ranks in their skills equal to the number of minions past the first. If you've got 4 minions, they get 3 ranks, 2 get 1 rank, etc. They use the characteristic linked to the skill as usual.
