What do you want to spend the Advantage on? Eye for Detail would net you another Advantage. One option would be to pass some of it on and pick up a Specialist Tool.

We'll add Automatic Advantage, and two boosts to:

Specialist tool (welding gear): : 2eA+2eP+2eB+2eD 1 success, 2 advantage

And we'll lower the Encumbrance to 6

You could use Creative Design to make that 3 and pick up Safety Features. (And then I'd get to spend a Threat 😈 )

@P-47 Thunderbolt I believe I named the Strill as “Char”.

@RuusMarev sorry, only crafted toys for my two. They’ve been brothers for several years so it works out narratively, and I subtracted the Cr cost for their gear out of their individual allotments. You are welcome to take any of the three worse then average energy rifles I made that will be sitting unused in the armory or some of the 5 excess drag grenades I have right now. In the future of course I can try to craft you something better, just going to need to acquire more schematics for more weapon types.
