TK-829 shouts in surprise and yells: Get to cover! And fires his Heavy Blaster Rifle at point blank range into the mandalorian's gut, causing him to drop back slightly.

Beatbox slinks behind the cargo box nearby for cover, but tentatively moonwalks out long enough to line up a shot and fire at the wounded Mandalorian.

TK-808 and TR-920 lay down a well-aimed (surprisingly so) hail of blaster fire that slams into the mandalorian, knocking him back into the Kyuzo who grabs him with one hand, holsters his pistol and injects the Mando with a stimpack, reviving him. He then shoots TK-829 with the heavy blaster pistol in his left hand. TK-829 grunts in pain as the blaster bolt hits him solidly in the soldier, but he isn't down.

The mandalorian, now revived, takes aim and shoots at the stormtroopers who shot him, drilling TK-808 straight through the head, "Beatbox" falls forwards, knocking over the crates that he and TR-920 were using as cover.

Just as Beatbox went down, the 4 Stormtroopers that had been in the warehouse burst onto the scene and seem slightly shocked to see the firefight already inside the starport.

TK-829 runs back to the new arrivals: Get your shiny butts in gear! Shoot them! He then turns around and sprays fire at the Kyuzo: Eat laser, scum! Hitting the Kyuzo across his torso causing him to stumble back, but he quickly recovers himself and grabs a grenade off his bandoleer.

This is your moment. Hit that grenade. Save the others; mourn the fallen later. Maybe even get promoted back off this rock. Breathe in.... out..... fire.

TR-920 fires directly at-- the Kyuzo's thumb. The graze causes him to drop the grenade. The blast doesn't have much effect, but at least it's not being lobbed into his squad mates.

With an unseen grimace, TR-920 retreats to group up with his fellow troopers.

"Orders, Sarge?"

Great shot! Oh no. You see the Kyuzo grab another grenade off his bandoleer and lob it at TK-829 detonating in the cluster of Imperials. TK-829 is thrown back against the wall gasping, seemingly stunned.

The Mandalorian then lines up his shot and fires, shooting straight through one of the stormtroopers, the bullet embedding in the armor of the Trooper behind him.

The stormtroopers fire at the Kyuzo who staggers back, dodging the hail of hire.

TR-920 lays down more fire, bolstered now by his comrades. While the slippery Kyuzo escapes their shots, a wayward fuel tank does not.

BA–THOOOOM!

Heavy, corrosive smoke washes over the landing pad.

"Seal your buckets!" Quest calls out. "Keep up suppressing fire. Someone comm for backup!"

The Kyuzo shields his face from the explosion, holsters his pistol and then sprints toward TK-829 while drawing his vibroaxe which he then slams into the sergeant's chest, TK-829 screams as the axe rips into his chest, crushing bone and shearing flesh. Just as this happens, another shot from the Mandalorian's slugthrower zips out of the smoke, slamming into the wall beside TK-829's head, who fires his Heavy Blaster Rifle at the Kyuzo looming over him, the Kyuzo ducks out of the way and the bolts fly harmlessly past, but the Kyuzo seems to be caught off-guard by the point-blank attack.

The irony of Sergeant Gore being viciously wounded is not lost on TR-920. With the Kyuzo distracted, TR-920 and his squad mates are able to bring him down.

"Grab some cover. Pick up your visual scanning for the second target."

He flicks on his comm and calls for any backup over an open channel.

Just then another round zips out of the smoke and TK-672 explodes behind you, screaming as the grenade on his belt detonates. Luckily for you, his body absorbed most of the explosion and no one else was hurt.

As you perform a visual sweep of the bay, looking for the Mandalorian, you see him applying a stimpack to the Kyuzo, who, seeing that you saw them lets out a guttural roar and charges you with his Vibroaxe, swinging at the Trooper right to your left, but the trooper holds up his blaster in an effort to parry the blow, he succeeds, but his weapons takes a lot of damage.

TK-829, seemingly forgotten by the rebels, yells: Retreat! Go back through the office! He then fires his HBR at the Mandalorian who reels to the side, some of the bolts flying past him and going right over the heads of the troopers. This gives the Kyuzo the opportunity he needs, and he slips off back into the smoke.

The squad scrambles through the door into the office. TR-920 barks at one comrade, "Hit the lockdown on that console. We don't want them stealing this shipment."

Quest and the other trooper take position on each side of the door and fire at their only visible target.

"Got 'em. Stay down this time!"

The smoke starts to clear, and as you poke your head around the doorway, you come face-to-face with the Kyuzo who smashes his vibroaxe into your side.

Your world starts to go black as you try to hang on to the life that is slowly ebbing away...

The Kyuzo then runs over to the Mandalorian and applies a stimpack, reviving him. The Mandalorian then fires again, drilling the stormtrooper standing in the doorway.

The other stormtrooper runs over to the doorway and fires at the Kyuzo, trying to avenge his fallen comrades. In spite of his damaged blaster, he manages to hit, causing the Kyuzo to fall back, but the Kyuzo stays on his feet, and together the two rebels run off through the smoke and out the back entrance.

And so ends Guard Duty 87-Gamma.

You've just come on duty for the day, patrolling the corridors of the base with TK-251, also known as Brick. He thinks it's because you think he's tough, but it's actually because he's 1. dumb as a sack of bricks, 2. because he is as thick as a brick, and 3. because he had a brick tattooed on his forehead on a dare (see 1 and 2). Your sergeant, TK-563 is in the command center coordinating his squad, made up of your fire team and another that is patrolling separate from you.

TK-236-A walks up to TK-5417, Hey new guy.. Have you seen TK-808? I...I think we were supposed to be on patrol at .. the spaceport...was it today?

“Sir No Sir!!” Shiny responds, snapping to attention and giving a sharp salute before realizing it’s just another trooper. “I mean, uh.. I don’t know?”

TN-1156 strolls along with some pep in his march.

"Oh no, we're definitely on hallway duty again. Sure would be nice to get some fresh air. I hear they got a new batch of VT-15s in at the garages. I'd love to take a gander at those beauts."

The sergeant's voice cuts in over comms, Alert, we've got a situation outside, an HRB has gone crazy. Keep alert for infiltrators.

Yes sergeant!

“Sir..geant.. Yes, Sergeant.” The eager trooper clutches his well-maintained rifle a little tighter, secure in the knowledge he had just cleaned it a few hours prior. He would be just as vigilant in his patrol. If there was rebel scum lurking about, it would not get past him!
