Ah, oops. Sorry.

I'm not opposed to giving Barriss a Cool rating - what is your reasoning for picking that stat out, may I ask?

Largely initiative, and since Cool is used for ambushes, it makes a degree of sense since she ambushed/got the drop on a couple characters in the show.
She also seems pretty good at staying calm under pressure, particularly when you look at the Geonosis episode (though I guess you could chalk that up to discipline, but they kinda go hand in hand).

Savage proved himself to be fairly capable in the "trials" Ventress ran on Dathomir, holding his own against a very talented assassin. I would say his variant profile reflects that, whilst still clearly be outclasses when you compare it to statblocks like Ventress or his base version.

Okay, I guess. His skills just seem a bit high. Maybe lower some of them a point? I guess maybe the characteristic boost might be sufficient, but since his statblock is after the magiks, and Dooku, and Maul, I think they should be a little bit lower (if you like 'em the way they are, I can always adjust them down if I use the statblock, it's just my recommendation). And something I just noticed is his weapon, you gave him a fully-fledged vibro-axe. Wouldn't it make more sense to give him the nightbrother weapon? They didn't seem to really have access to vibro weapons.

Unless I'm mistaken, I believe it is implied that he has a latent Force Sensitivity - like with the child Anakin profile, the intention is that his basic powers (Enhance and Sense) would be played as if they are instinctive reactions rather than conscious uses of the Force. The addition of a Cool rating is intentional, as I wanted him to have some stats that he would "lose" as the price for his increased strength and deadliness upon "upgrading" to the base profile.

Okay, sounds good. That makes sense.

Sounds good for Barriss - I think Cool 2 should be sufficient, I'll get that added to both her base and variant profiles.

I think you're right on Savage, I'm going to take him down to 3 Brawn and knock off a rank each in Brawl, Melee and Resilience. It makes his post-transformation profile even more of a dramatic increase. I'm also going to remove his Sense power as the "instinct" element is already covered by his ranks in Uncanny Senses and Uncanny Reactions.

Yeah, the Vibro-ax is a silly mistake on my part. Will change that too.

So you might want to note the geonosian brainworms cant handle extreme cold.

IIRC that's covered by their sidebar in Rise of the Separatists, but I'll see if I can squeeze something in.

Another thing I just thought up today that might be useful is a couple of tables at the end for various quick references - like a long list of Jedi (not just the ones statted in the book, but others too including canon, Legends and invented) with quick information like names, rank, species and lightsaber colour so GMs can quickly magic up a character whenever they need one. So there could be a table of Jedi, a table of clone names, Republic senators, Separatist commanders, etc.

Would that be worth anything to people or would it be mostly surplus to requirements?

That would definitely be helpful!

especially if you referenced an appropriate stat block. like jedi Padawan pg xx. or Jedi knight pg yy

Maybe just reference the page in collapse of the republic.

Just noticed that Pre Visla and Bo Katan have their WESTAR-35 pistols listed as 7 damage 3 crit. It should be 6-2.

Thanks for the catch. I think I must have taken the damage/crit values from the Spark Of Rebellion version by accident. Will be corrected.

Bug: Talz Tundra Dweller ability states they "Remove [Boost Die] imposed due to cold environments."

Thanks! This one is already on the list thanks to someone on Reddit, but it's still (unintentionally) amusing.

A couple of other tweaks that will be in the next update (writing them as I remember them, since I don't keep official "patch notes"):

(Will edit this regularly until the next update):

- K'Kruhk's Soak is reduced to 6, his Melee Defense is increased to 2 and he now wears normal Jedi robes like the other characters in the chapter (+1 defense, +1 soak).

- Captain Rex has the Improved Quick Draw talent instead of the regular version (he's faster on the trigger in his prime compared to his Dawn Of Rebellion-era self).

- Wrecker has Adversary 1 (down from Adversary 2) to bring him in line with Tech and Crosshair. Sergeant Hunter still has Adversary 2.

- Clone Ace now has a rank in the Skilled Jockey talent.

- Clone Ordnance Specialist's "Short Fuse" ability can now be used once per encounter instead of once per session.

This may be worthy of its own page, but I was looking for thoughts on my own Stat Block for The Mandalorian. Was thinking about stating up some characters from that series.

That size is pretty much illegible. Could you write it out? (also, yeah, you should probably make your own topic for it).

I think he should have at least 2 skill in melee, the fight scene with Paz is straight out of medieval fighting manuals. I’m not sure if he needs a 4 strength, he doesn’t appear to be super buff.

Maybe give him another defense for a total of 2 (one of the only Beskar suits of armor listed in the game has +2 soak, +2 defense, cortosis from Friends like these ), I wouldn’t call his armor heavy it’s half plate.

A preview of some tables I am drawing up to add on as an appendix. I'm also mulling over whether to try my hand at building a couple of universal spec trees but am not sure what their themes would be - I like the idea of trying to teach myself more about talent trees in the same way this project prompted me to learn a lot about NPC building or species statting.

Jedi Characters (Canon/Legends) - includes a D50 list for random encounters for characters plucked from canon. Also provides a suggested adversary profile for those that do not have their own page and other quick reference material:

sMKwjqY.png

Jedi Characters (Fanon) - includes a D100 list for random encounters involving made-up Jedi not bound to canon restrictions, with suggested adversary templates and other quick reference material like species or lightsaber colour:

Republic Senators (Canon/Legends) - for those braving the world of galactic politics and in need of a quick Who's Who of senators and the planets they represent. Also notes which political faction they support of those listed in Rise of the Separatists:

CW7yIOT.png

Separatist Senators (Canon/Legends) - similar to the Republic senators list, but uses the factions listed for the Separatist Congress:

rtkgfza.png

Separatist Military Commanders (Canon/Legends) - this table provides a list of Separatist commanders that might lead an opposing force. Instead of having a dozen different minor variations of the Separatist Commander statblock, this instead gives a list of names and some suggested additional skills to customise the template profile to their individual talents:

Those are....awesome...
You should check out the expanded players guide for Genesys it has info on building spec trees.

Oh nice, I was going to pick that up at some point since I have the other Genesys books but that's enough to push it up my To Do List.

Okay, first draft of a new spec tree for the Jedi career - the Temple Guardian. Feedback welcome! Credit to @RLogue177 for his spec tree template.

Second draft of the Temple Guardian following some feedback on Reddit. Biggest changes are to the Cease Hostilities (basic and improved) versions, and a tweak to Stalwart:

EDIT: Third draft below.

Edited by Kualan

Third draft, think I'm pretty happy with this now. This removes Defensive Stance, adds Heightened Awareness and moves the second Reflect rank down to the fourth tier. It also includes a reworked Sentinel of the Order.

Hey, side note, I was looking over the statblock for Cassie Cryar again (because I decided to use it :P ), you mention wanting her to "put up a good chase" so would giving her Shortcut make sense? Or would that just be too much/unnecessary?

For my purposes, I tweaked the statblock in a couple areas and added Shortcut 2, but the character is "higher-level" (so to speak) than Cassie Cryar.

I think she had a Shortcut in an earlier draft, but a highly situational boost die struck me as a little redundant when she already has talents like Swift and her Jango Jumper ability which means she already has a lot of potential to easily gain ground on any pursuer.

Maybe Jedi Librarian for another tree?

That'd put it up to a full 6 specs in the Jedi career.

The other option would be Jedi Pilot.

If I can think of some way to represent a Jedi Librarian or Jedi Pilot in a way that isn't already represented in trees like Starfighter Ace or Sage/Teacher, I'm game. But at first glance those seem like areas that are pretty well covered already.
