A good, thematic idea, but is it enough to build a tree around? I'm not so sure, but will continue to muse on it.

Maybe a some talents like researcher tied to Lore?
THIS. IS. AMAZING !
thanks a lot for that amazing work !
So just a little update on things:
Once I've completed a couple of spec trees (Jedi Temple Guardian + one or two still to be determined), pushed out another update of typo/error corrections and added the reference tables I think we'll have pretty much everything done.
What started as an NPC guide has expanded a bit and sort of become its own sourcebook but I think I could comfortably leave it there.
However, I'm not done with SWRPG projects (or even the Clone Wars era). For the next project I'm considering moving away from the sourcebook-style stuff and writing up a full-blown adventure book. It would be a separate "book" but use a lot of the statblocks/characters created for Heroes On Both Sides.
Sorry for the double post, but this is REALLY cool.
All of the NPCs from Heroes On Both Sides are now catalogued and available on Stoo Goff's Star Wars Adversaries website!
The vast majority will already know about this awesome site, but if you don't it's a fantastic resource that has all of the NPCs from across the game listed for easy quick reference, including handy visual indications of what dice pools to roll for each character. It's actually this site that led me to include visual dice pools in the statblocks in this supplement.
Check it out here, starting with Aayla Secura: http://swa.stoogoff.com/#aayla-secura
(Note you might need to clear your browser cache for this site for the new additions to load up)
Huge thanks to them for reaching out and offering to host the Heroes On Both Sides content!
Thanks for making this, its pretty sweet.
This is brilliant! Thank you so much for all the time and effort put in to this!
Soooo i just noticed your cool temple guard tree is not actually in the document...when i went looking for it...

I haven't done the next update (with the final version of that tree in it) yet. No ETA just yet.

Ah...ok
Not making any promises, but THEORETICALLY if someone was to stat up some CW-era vehicles to add to this supplement, what would be some things to see?
My initials thoughts would be:
- Defoliator Tank (from Jedi Crash / Defenders Of Peace
- Umbaran Mobile Heavy Cannon
- Umbaran Hover Tank
- Umbaran Starfighter
- Umbaran Crawler Tank
- Separatist 'Super Tank' (from the Geonosis episodes)
Recusant, Stealth Ship, Large Octuptarra, Small Providence.
I'm sure there's a bunch I'm not thinking of, but that's just off the top of my head.

There's a "small" Providence?

When compared to the Providence dreadnought statted in CotR.
There were two variants, the normal one (aka the "small" one) and the large variant (the one statted. Example are the Invisible Hand and the Invincible).
The smaller one was ~1 kilometer long, the larger one was ~2 kilometers.

That sounds to me more like a "how long exactly is the Executor?" style continuity error than something that requires two statblocks. The other suggestions are good though.

The issue is that they were actually different ships. Plus, having a smaller separatist capital ship that can operate more on par with a Venator rather than easily overpowering it completely would be nice.
Although speaking of Separatist ships, did we ever get something akin to the Malevolence in any of the books?

Yes, the Subjugator-class Heavy Cruiser in CotR.
Some of the Mandalorian capital ships would be good..
N1 Starfighter
Do we have both versions of crab and spider droids? Those now battle droids from the recent episodes. The new shuttle the Bad batch has would be good...
Oh yeah, the OG-9, the AT-OT, and the UT-AT would be nice.
Hi,
Amazing work. I am really impressed.
Do you mind to share with us the resources, templates and fonts you used for you guide that we could use for our own guides?
I am especially interested in the fonts you use for the main body text. Did you start with these resources? https://fanggrip.wordpress.com/2015/04/17/edge-of-the-empire-style-guide/
On my side I created a colored font set derived from the SW symbols. It works perfectly on MacOS and is supposed on Win10 (at least so pretends the publisher of the app I used to create the font).
You can find it here. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qtkij0ep4owo667/AAC1GhX4Mdaol2y1m-0ZmxF5a?dl=0
Cheers!

crab & spider droids are both in RotS

There are variants of those, and only one variant of each was shown.
I don't remember much about the crab droid, I think it was just a bigger version, but RotS was definitely missing the OG-9 Homing Spider Droid, which is the "other spider droid" that I believe Daeglan was referring to.
