So Jorin is facing 15 incoming damage, pierce 2, and Ethan can spend 3 strain to stop 5 or 8 of it depending on xp expenditure, going to use the triumph to upgrade Ker'see' next attack, 3 advantage to crit Jorin and, pass 4 boosts to the stealth check of the droids trying to sneak up on Ker'see (Jango doesn't need help on his check to sneak up on Ker'see, but he doesn't know about duchess)

Crit on Jorin : 1d100+20 76

Overpowered, attacker may immediately attempt another free attack using the same pool... RAW is they can do this despite slow firing (I've personally asked the devs this question in the context of a repulsor fist), but I'm going to bend the rules as a one off and say this time that slow firing prevents the second shot.

Edit: Btw Jorin will also take 1 strain each time he moves for the rest of the encouter

So that means for Jorin ...

With the help of Ethan's block/Reflect ...

15 damage (w. Pierce 2) - 8 Reflect = 7 damage (w. Pierce 2).

Soak 4 - Pierce 2 = Soak 2.

7 damage - Soak 2 = 5 Wounds taken by Jorin

Overpowered critical injury (attacker is allowed an immediate free attack on the same target, using the same dice pool) is negated by Ethan's Guardian of the Republic talent.

Crippling Blow (+1 involuntary Strain whenever Jorin moves until the end of the encounter), inflicted by the sniper's talent.

Then add however much Strain Jorin suffered from his movement to Mireska's location in the alley (due to the afore-mentioned Crippling Blow talent).

Extreme, but 3 applications of force leap will get you there.

I would like to take Mireska's turn now, at the top of round 2, so that I can get to sleep at a decent hour for my time zone.

It would be most convenient if wou went last this round and first the next so both turns could be handled in a single post so everyone.

Do I still get to decide who goes first because I have first initiative? If so that is still fine with me. Just want to know.

After that my recommendation from a tactical perspective is

Round 2

@MrTInce /Ker'see shoot and comm to other jedi (can hear droids coming up the stairs so won't be able to deal with 3rd (and possibly 2nd) sniper)

@Bellona /Mireska heals jorin

Snipers (droids get to 3rd floor of Ker'see's sniper nest)

@RuusMarev /Jorin (suggestion get to the working speeder and go to Ker'see's building, will cost you 2 strain for 2 maneuvers because of crippling blow, you traded your action for a maneuver)

@jhh3 /Ethan force leap 3 times (once as action twice as maneuver so 2 strain) might want to drop sense defense so have 5 force dice for the 3 force checks to help ensure you pull them all off, if successful that can put you in the snipers nest... could narrate that you use your portable plasma shield to protect yourself as you crash through the glass window

Round 3

@jhh3 /Ethan lightsaber or move force power against the sniper(s) if you get 3 white pips (or are willing to take conflict) you can throw two of them out the window.

@MrTInce Ker'see & Duchess attack droids

Enemy NPCs (don't know who's left at this point but at least droids, standard b1's I'm currently thinking 3 minion groups of 6, and jango)

@RuusMarev / runs up the stairs (2 maneuvers at 2 strain for crippling blow and another 2 strain for a second maneuver) and attack the droids

@Bellona /Mireska heals herself.

Round 4

????

Btw jango is currently statted as a bounty hunter:gadgeteer/martial artist/deathwatch warrior/gunslinger with adversary 3 (to give you an idea of the talents you're up against) he has 6 soak, you'll be facing defense 4 from him as well.

You either get to go first or let anyone else who wants to... this is generally a cooperative game so people tend to do what's best for the group/team

That does list them after the sniper, in particular in the last slot of round 2 and first slot of round 3 for narrative convenience of a single action sequence spanning 2 turns

... and that was better than expected: 1 Success, 3 LS pips (Mireska declines to use the DS pips).

@RuusMarev /Jorin is healed 8 Wounds, 8 Strain, and his Critical Injury is removed (yes, the effect has run out, but until it's removed it will add to future C.I. rolls). That cost 1 LS pip and the Success on the Medicine portion of the roll. Jorin should be good to go on his turn.

Bellona is healed 8 Wounds and 8 Strain. That cost 2 LS pips (for the extra person healed). She is now at 1 Wound taken and no Strain suffered.

No failed skill check, therefore no destiny point conversion. :)

Similar benefit is provided to Jorin if he wants to take the speeder back to Ker'see's sniper nest.
