Ker'see performing a Hawkbat swoop against a training dummy from short range

Training - Hawkbat Swoop : 4eP+2eA+2eD+3eF 6 successes, 1 Triumph, 3 Light Side

Will use a force to get into range and then convert the other two to advantage and will trigger three crits for a total of +50.

So the Critical is:

Critical : 1d100+50 142

End is nigh... This training dummy is dead.

Also Damage is 19 with breach 1.

I believe that a christophsis crystal has a base crit rating of 3, with 1 crystal mod reduction that's 2... how are you activating three crits? And where is the other +20 coming from?

Also I don't think you are able to pass a boost to yourself while modding as you aren't in combat (and the table is for in combat uses of advantage triumph etc.)

I performed two mods to reduce to critical rating down twice. Boosts can be passed out of combat in all skill challenges I believe.

The other plus 20 is from lethal blows talent.

I misread that I thought the first one was damage... man my brain was fried... after going to bed in his own room my son got up in the middle of the night to come to our bed and then kept us up... I had less than 6 hours of sleep so I'll blame that.

@EliasWindrider , I've been waiting for a good opportunity with the Jedi having completed certain things, and I think it's about time so I want to clear some things with you:

Time jump a day or two, and we learn that Loathsome is massing for another attack.
It'll likely be a line battle, and there aren't really any targets that aren't suicidal, so Camouflage doesn't have much to do.
The way the learn that they're being ordered to Teth in the movie is when Ahsoka arrives, then the Separatist blockade arrives and chases off the fleet. This won't work for our situation, so how do they get a message through?
I suppose it could still work, depending on whether the Separatist fleet is currently in orbit. Are they?
If they aren't, then I have an idea.
The base's long-range transmitter/relay is damaged/destroyed and we've been out of contact. For whatever reason, the Jedi council thinks we've won and so Bail Organa returns with a couple Venators and some Peltas to continue the relief effort in the "aftermath" of the battle. We're unable to warn them off until they get close enough, so he flies down under cover of starfighter escort and relays the message.
Mireska(?) tells him the situation isn't as resolved as he thinks, then the Separatist fleet arrives and chases off the Venators and transports.
While that battle is going on, Camouflage requests permission to go ahead as a scouting party since that's what they do, and receives permission. He commandeers Organa's shuttle and fighter escort, escaping while the battle is raging in space.

It doesn't have to be Organa, but that was the best idea I had.

Doesn't the (possibly reinforced) Republic fleet come by at one point to drive off the Separatists?

At the very end of the battle, arriving with Yoda.

Separatist fleet in in orbit, encrypted transmission is fine.

If they can receive transmissions, why aren't they in contact with high command? In the movie, their communications were cut off.

(I kinda figured the incoming PC's were acting as 'Ahsoka" to bring word of the new mission...)

We haven't established that the GAR garrison on christophsis wasn't in contact with high command.

So why are they being ordered to Teth when they clearly aren't done yet?

In the movie, Yoda says that Obi-Wan and Anakin are the best options because they just finished up on Christophsis. But that's because Yoda was unaware of the recent developments.

Maybe because it was reported that we destroyed the separtist shield generator... so that as soon as the republic fleet drives off the separatists fleet it's game over for the seppiies

So Varactyl squad gets, what, a fifteen minute head-start?

They have to leave early enough to actually have time to do stuff, and he can't just leave while the Separatists are blockading Christophsis.

If they are out of contact and the Separatist fleet isn't in orbit, then we solve all of the problems.
The Republic sends ships (couple Venators and some Peltas) that deliver the orders to go chase down Teth.
We fill them in that the situation isn't as resolved as they think and that we're in need of reinforcements.
The Separatist fleet arrives and the battle begins. Camo uses it as cover to escape on a shuttle just before the fleet retreats.
Then after a relatively short time (but a couple days, enough to give Camouflage time), the Republic comes back with reinforcements and relieves the beleaguered defenders by chasing off the fleet and landing fresh troops.
The Jedi then take an Acclamator to Teth and receive the report back from Varactyl squad.

Ok that works.

Alright, any particular requests/refusals for an envoy to take the shuttle down to the surface?

Also, what exactly will the Jedi be doing on Christophsis in the meantime?

Will it just be narrative battle, or will we have an actual combat encounter or more?

@Bellona , @MrTInce , @RuusMarev , do you want to RP out the reception of the new orders, or do you want me to just narrate the whole thing, including potentially voicing your characters?

In the interest of expediency, I vote for you to do one big post.

Let's see what the others think ...

It works for me, Jorin would want to join with Camouflage, but also knows he might be needed for the upcoming battle.. (poor kid... 😢 :D )

Just to confirm, what are the orders?

Rescue Rotta.

I guess the Jedi could send in fresh troops and another General to replace us...

Narrative , feel free to embellish your heroics. This goes for all Ju edi PCs
