I was wrong about the rule and mistook.a white pip from AoR (balance first appeared in AoR' force sensitive emergent, back then they weren't using the half white half black symbol for force pips) for a force die.

So you recovered 5 strain, so you're at 6/17.

I was also wrong about your earned xp... I think you're at 975 earned xp not 1000.

Does that mean I have to lose some talents?

I believe that the enemy snipers were using the E-11S blaster rifle (Enter the Unknown p. 38), but I have no idea if they had attachments/were modded or not. The basic E-11S is as follows:

Ranged (Heavy), Damage 10, Critical 3, Range Extreme, Accurate 1, Pierce 2, Slow Firing 1, Cumbersome 3, Encumbrance 6, Hard Points 3

No, it was done correctly in oggdude's generator.i justess3d up some simple arithmetic when answering your qquestion (double counted some xp), I noticed there was too much leftover xp when I was trying to update your character in oggdude's generator.

If there's a big enough time gap I think Ker'see would make a weapon as according to RAW you can use survival.

Survival is for armor. Might be some melee weapons to....but most weapons require mechanics

The Bladed Weapon template (combat knife) is Average Mechanics or Survival, but a vibro-weapon (Combat Utility Vibroblade, vibroknife, etc) is Hard Mechanics.

Is that the pdf? I don't have oggdudes's generator. Should I get it?

Yes that's what made the pdf, oggdude's generator is free, but only works for windows and you have to enter the text descriptions for everything through the data editor and it's current up through rise of the separatists but doesn't have collapse of the republic. In the eote forum, there is a super long thread called another character generator, and if you click on ogg dude's profile I think you can navigate to his signature file where there is a link to download the generator. You're antivirus software will probably warn you against it because it's self signed but it's perfectly safe to install.

@EliasWindrider Assuming a crit is an instant kill, I'll use the advantage on one of those.

Ok. Then give me another initiative check... how are you doing on missiles.... you've launched missiles 3 times so far.

It's Limited Ammo 10, so I've got 7 left at the moment.

Edit: Actually, I've got 8. I've launched two missiles with the mass-driver, and 1 rocket of the Air-to-Air. The Air-to-Air has Limited Ammo 4, so it's down to 3 rockets.

Here's the suggested scene wipe, going from the end of the combat through clean-up, sabotage, and return to the GAR garrison with the prisoner. It's long, so I put it in a spoiler here.

It also makes some assumptions about all the PCs, so please check it to make sure that it's true to the concept of what your own PC is like!

The last battle droid hit the floor and silence reigned.

Ethan, Jorin, and Mireska looked around carefully, checking that there were no more enemies. The Duchess nosed Ker’see’s unconscious body, then sat down beside her with a distressed trill.

Once assured that there were no more immediate threats, Mireska began to heal her comrades, starting with Ker’see. The rapidly vanishing adrenaline from the recent battle made it difficult for her to maintain the necessary focus, but she persevered. Even the Duchess deigned to be at least partially healed of the consequences of her overly-enthusiastic pounce and subsequent fall.

The Jedi discussed their next options, and decided that Ethan and Jorin would go to the site of the speeder bike crash. There they would right the BARC, check the sabotage charges, and make any necessary quick fixes before using the double BARC to meet the other two at the enemy sniper’s nest. In the meantime, Ker’see would recover her beloved bow and Mireska check for intelligence-related salvage from the fallen B1s. It was a long shot, but maybe she’d find something actionable. They and Duchess would then take Ethan’s BARC and Ker’see’s double BARC to meet the others.

Once at the other sniper’s nest, the Jedi put the sole surviving - and blinded - sniper into binders. Mireska debated healing him of his blindness, but decided to wait until they were all safely back at the GAR garrison. She did heal his other injuries though. The sniper’s nest yielded a small trove of dangerous firearms, most of which the Jedi immediately confiscated “for undercover use”.

Ker’see set herself up in the enemy sniper’s nest, with Duchess guarding her back and the prisoner. Ethan, Mireska, and Jorin took the single and one of the double BARCs to lay the sabotage charges underneath the two bridges.

Deciding that expediency was the order of the day, they didn’t mess around with motion-sensitive triggers and the like and instead set up the charges with a normal detonator which was activated remotely once everyone was safely back on the Republic side of the river. After all, as Mireska pointed out, the armoured Mandalorian - who according to Republic Intelligence was probably the infamous (and demonstrably dangerous) bounty hunter Jango Fett - had escaped to the CIS forces and most likely knew the location of the that sniper’s nest.

As soon as they were at a safe distance, they blew the bridges and rendezvoused with Ker'see. The prisoner was tied to the baggage carrier of Ethan's BARC, and the Jedi rode quickly back to the GAR garrison.

Ker’see was notably disgruntled. Not only had Fett managed to deal her some serious wounds and knock her out, but he’d also made off with both her protective amulet and her lightsabre. She could only hope that he dealt himself an equally nasty injury if he tried to activate it. In the meantime, she needed to build a replacement lightsabre. And coddle the Duchess.

Meanwhile, Mireska was wondering what a devious man like Fett could do with the amulet if he discovered its function. She shivered mentally at the thought of him using it to gain unconventional access to space stations, underwater locations, and the like. We need to find out what he looks like, so that we have a better chance of identifying him.

Jorin was still keyed up after their foray into enemy territory. It had been at times exhilarating, terrifying, and sobering. There was still a lot left to learn, obviously.

Ethan just wanted to put his feet up and sleep. Coming almost directly from dogfights amongst the stars and in the sky to firefights on the ground had not made for a restful day.

I'm good 🙂

You count each rocket from Linked in the Limited Ammo, so you actually only get one shot with the Air-to-Air.

You've fired the mass-driver missile launcher twice, so that's 4 missiles launched with 6 left.

Oof, that get’s used up pretty quick then. Do you know if we’re able to reload any of that on the move?

That'd be up to the GM. I think I heard somewhere that it takes a Maneuver, but I don't have a source on that and it may have been for a particular vessel or for capital ships only.

No.

And then either give it a positive reaction or just post here in OOC that you have approved it (or have some comments/suggestions for changes).

@Bellona Looks good to me. Great job!

Screenwipe is fine with me.

I'll take one of those pistols, if that's okay.

So that you all get one, the spotters now had the same dragoon cavalry blaster (retcon)

@EliasWindrider

Regarding Mireska's visit to the garrison's Medical section:

Since we've gone back into narrative time, I'm assuming that any regular Wound/Strain removal will occur without needing to roll any dice (as the Force dice will eventually roll as desired). Even just 1 LS pip will remove 8 Wounds and Strain.

Critical Injury removal might require actual dice rolling. (This could be relevant to the Will of the Force talent.)

Status removal is probably not required, as they tend to be short-lived effects and therefore finished by the time that the soldiers are brought back to Medical.

Resusciatation from death via Heal has to be on the spot (and only 1/session). So unless someone codes while Mireska is there in Medical, she's not likely to use it.

What pistols?

I won't require rolling to remove critical... just soak in a bacta tank narratively and they're good.

Good point (although using Mireska will save on the bacta budget for our legion/whatever our unit is).

Mireska also has one solitary rank in Bacta Specialist.
