with Easy Difficulty?
It costs an action to commit dice, so if you do it you can't attack this round. 2 purple difficulty to hit with a lightsaber, 1 purple if you shoot them with the carbine.
Alright, let's see what we can---
Jorin vs. B1's
:
3eP+2eD
1 failure, 2 advantage
son-of-a---- ummm... oh, I think I'll use Beginner's Luck... (depending on how many Light DP we have..?) Is it really only 1?

Yup really only 1
@EliasWindrider So I just rolled in advance? I don't need to make an IC post yet?
20 hours ago, Bellona said:When Mireska heard Jorin's words, followed by the sound of a grenade blast, she straightened up with a frown.
"I'm on my way," she replied tersely.
Gathering the threads of the Force to help her, she imagined herself as a dejarik piece being picked up and leapfrogged from square to square. That's me, the Ghhhk being moved in to heal another piece ... Sith take that sniper, my kriffing leg still hurts!
At the apex of her third leap Mireska quickly drew and activated her lighsabre, and followed it up with the activation of her portable plasma shield from her vambrace. She then landed right beside Ker'see and brandished her teal-bladed lightsabre at the unknown man in Mandalorian armour.
"I suggest that you surrender, instead," she stated calmly.
You know how to play dejarik? Glad I'm not the only crazy person who must know how to play star wars games, like sabacc, dejarik, Klikklak, etc.
Edited by jhh3Can I use Something to Prove?

Sorry I tried to narrate past that to the end of the encounter before remembering the b1s

Yes

Yes
No prob. Makes sense.
Jorin vs B1's (something to prove)

3eP+2eD
1 success, 1 advantage
Ugh... well, could be worse...

7 damage plus the I think 8 from before is 15 enough to kill the second minion in the group but not the third (you have to exceed 15 to kill the third one). Take another turn (round 7) and narrate them together.

It would be more correct to say that I know about the existance of dejarik/"space chess". I had to look it up on Wookieepedia just before I posted to check to which piece it would be most appropriate to compare Mireska, and found out that one of the pieces was a healer (the Ghhhk). Before that, the only piece I knew was the Kintan Strider due to the phrase "Kintan Strider Gambit".
Just like the only thing that I know about sabacc are the names of two hand combinations (Idiot's Array and Pure Sabacc), and that there's a card used by cheaters called a "skifter" (which sounds like it was invented by a Scandinavian).

Jorin vs more B1's
:
3eP+2eD
1 success
Man Jorin, I can't wait to level you up, young Padawan...
Unless anyone thinks of a better idea, I think Mireska will actually take the fight to the B1s before they take their round 7 turn. They'll have a greater difficulty shooting at someone who's Engaged.
By the way, if anyone needs the B1, B1 Supervisor, B2, or Droideka general stats when rolling against them, they're on page 20 of the Misc thread. (Hopefully I'll remember to delete the contents of those particular posts when the entire campaign is over.)
Unless our GM is flipping DPs or the B1s are making use of previous Advantages, etc., their biggest dice pool is YYYG when there are 6 in a group ... and that dice pool shrinks for every B1 destroyed.
Edited by BellonaMireska takes the fight to the droids ... prepare to be underwhelmed, and maybe our DPs will improve.
Incidental: Contact @jhh3 /Ethan to say that Mireska and Jorin need help. (Come to think of it, this would have happened in round 6.)
Manoeuvre: Force Leap to Engage B1s (+1 Strain b/c Crippling Talent) ...
Force Leap to Engage B1s
:
4eF
3 Light Side, 2 Dark Side
Action: Lightsabre combat check against B1s combine with Flow power ...
LSa combat vs. B1s plus Flow power
:
1eP+1eA+2eD+4eF
1 advantage, 2 Light Side, 5 Dark Side
Result (when including her Fine-Tuned Emitter) : 2 Advantages, 2 LS.
Whaddya know, she failed to hit anything, now there's a big surprise! (For some reason I'm channelling the Grand Vizier's parrot from Aladdin.)
But ...
Will of the Force converts 1 destiny point from DS to LS. (What's the current status on those? I've lost track.)
Flow power reduces Mireska's Strain from 7 to 5.
2 Advantages spent to give Mireska's group of B1s +1 Setback when attacking her.
@EliasWindrider It's the B1s turn now (could we please have an update on their remaining numbers and Wounds, please?),
Followed by @jhh3 /Ethan (and maybe Duchess), and then we'll be done with round 7.
ETA: I'll do an IC post once Jorin's double turn (bottom of round 6, top of round 7) is posted IC. (And maybe Ethan's round 6 action too if he didn't get one?)
Edited by Bellona... Ummm, did @jhh3 /Ethan get his turn in round 6?
To be honest, with the sudden reminder about the presence of the B1s, I've lost track of his turns.

So 15+7=22>5*4 so between your 2 attacks you killed 3 battle droids.

After this use of will of the force there are 2 lightside destiny points in the pool.
1 group of b1s is un touched the other group is at 22/30 wounds has 3 droids left
Ethan can't help you from the tower this round (slow firing on the sniper rifle) but he could take a turn to force leaping to you (because he's maxed out on strain he could use an action and maneuver this round and an maneuver next round followed by attack an attack) ...
Actually since there are three sniper rifles he could use the move power to pull another one to him this turn then in subsequent rounds alternate rifles but he only has 1 force die because the rest are committed, but he only needs 1 fp so he has a 5/12 chance of success, and he can't use darkside pips because maxed out on strain, but if he uncommit 1 die, he'd have a 66% of success and still have a 5 green vs 3 purple chance of hitting b1's every turn from now on.
My recommendation is to not uncommit the force die, attempt move with 1 die, which you will probably fail, then have 6 green + white vs 3 purple so you'll probably get at least 2 strain back next turn, the spend a maneuver to go to the rifle, turn 8 spend a maneuver to pick it up and action to fire more strain recovered, round 9 maneuver back to the first rifle, 2nd maneuver at 2 strain to pick up the first rifle, then fire with more strain recovered, etc.
@jhh3 what do you want to do?
@Bellona @RuusMarev do you have a suggestion for Ethan's action, his options are severely strain limited this turn
Edited by EliasWindriderRe Ethan's choices, I say anything which ensures that we don't lose that blinded enemy sniper prisoner.
Technically we still have no idea who the Mandalorian was that Ker'see shot in the Petranaki arena and who just turned up here, and we need to find out. Unless GAR/Republic Intelligence did their jobs right and identified Jango Fett from his armour? (He would have been a person of interest due to his presence in the arena battle, fighting for the CIS side.)
We have some issues with timing, etc. ...
After healing Jorin (#2 of 4 PC slots in round 6), Mireska left his side to take on the other droid group (#2 of 4 PC slots in round 7), otherwise Mireska would not have spent +1 Strain on Force Leaping to that group. In other words, she's Engaged with the 6-member group.
Technically this latest droid attack (round 7) came after Mireska's attack on the 6-member B1 group. Her attack is above in the OOC, but not yet posted in the IC because I was waiting on @RuusMarev /Jorin's IC posts for rounds 6 + 7, and @jhh3 /Ethan's IC post for rounds 6.
The 6-member B1 group should have had +1 Setback (Mireska's 2 Advantage expenditure on her own turn) which stacks with the 4 Setbacks from her Defence 4. (The +1 Setback is a generic one, not a Defence +1.)
(By the way, are you sure about the number of Y/G dice in those pools? A single B1 starts with GG.)

I thought you were engaged with the same group as Jorin (because both are on the stairs and the one at the bottom of the stairs was only available to be attacked) so because engaged ranged heavy difficulty increased to 3 purple, the 2 green upgraded to 2 yellow by 3 minions and the triumph from the previous attack (per your suggestion) on makes 2 yellow 1 green and the 5 advantage makes 5 boosts.
Their triumph upgraded the 2 yellow 3 green to 3 yellow 2 green.
The purple upgrade to red because they're shooting at a target engaged with an ally
So other than the missing setback dice to the first attack they are correct pools
Missing setback die

They would know/suspect Jango Fett but not much more than the name and reputation.
@Bellona @RuusMarev do you want to take your round 8 turn before or after @jhh3 /Ethan's round 8 turn?
Just to check - if I use Ebb (the version which causes Strain damage) against the Droids, will that then convert to Wounds for them because they're minions?
