IIRC, our GM has opinions about Crossguard so it might not be available.

You made a bunch of crafting rolls, either all of them count and cost credits or you can start a new seqhence, I believe mental tools always counts as the right tools for the job which provides a boost. Expect to make multiple roles... base difficulty for a standard saber is 2 purple,
I believe defensive lightsaber reduces damage by 1 in exchange for increasing defense by one.

I've explained to him in pm that the house rule is it triggers on an enemy's despair not his triumph but with sum djem (his build is a consular:niman-disciple/armorer/knight fr 4) he has a chance to disarm when attacking and defending, so it works as a plus for his build.

I'm spending some of Mireska's banked XP on some Farsight upgrades, specifically route to adding Force dice to Perception and Vigilance checks. Mireska did not like being surprised like that!
(I'm not planning on going for the whole tree, so Ker'see will remain the undisputed master/mistress of Farsight.)

If so...
Make a bunch of reinforced clothing, use practice makes perfect until you build up 7 (no more than 7 boost dice), then make one attempt on reflective armor... you want extra melee defense, extra ranged defense and customizable and extra soak. Since you're mandalorian I imagine you had a mandalorian armorer providing advice/supervising so on that 1 role you get to apply valuable facts for a free triumph which also counts as a succes.
What that'd get you is soak 2, defense 2, enc 2, armor with 2 hp... which is only 1 hp better than modded armor inserts in clothing.
As a jedi character you have access to a jedi artisan who can add 2 hp each to 2 items, 1 should be armor the other should be a lightsaber (because your character is mandalorian)

I ate a "beyond burger" last night... woke up with bad gas... going to need to take beano or gasX in the future. Beyond meat is a veggie meat company... very close to beef in all regards... texture/granularity is slightly off, taste is definitely meat but a slightly subpar cow... much closer to beef than say buffalo (American bison) better tasting than buffalo. If you put ketchup on it it's indistinguishable from a real (cow) burger taste wise.
Given the impending meat shortage due to Corona virus shutting down meat processing plants we decided to give the new veggie meat a try... better for the environment and kinder to cows.

(It's not the same situation at all, but I'm suddenly flashing back to that 3-day misery last summer caused by food poisoning. Gastro-intestinal discomfort of any sort is really lousy.)

Until you get what you want, run out of credits, or give up out of boredom. With only 2 yellow dice the chances of getting 2 triumphs on the same roll is 1/144... so probably want to stop on a roll with 1 triumph and enough advantage for something else.
You can reforge a hilt to reduce cost of next attempt by half of original sabers base cost... good practice is to not reforge the current best hilt so you end up with 2 hilts at the end and one is the best you've ever made.
I'd like get rid of my kludged solution to previous problems with Armour Insert in Oggdude.
Therefore, may I please ditch the very home-made "Mireska's Jedi Healer Uniform" in favour of a crafted Reinforced Clothing (adding dice results which will give it +1 Hard Point so that it properly mimics Armoured Clothing) with the Armour Insert and Portable Plasma Shield (with identical mod results to the original versions)?
If need be, I can make some retro-active crafting rolls.

As long as the crafted thing has 1 hp, and you're using a talent or the jedi artisan +2 hp fo make the portable plasma shield legal go ahead, no crafting rolls needed

Not a talent in this particular context.
It's a result from the Armour crafting table (in the Guardian sourcebook, Keeping the Peace p. 91) which allows the crafter to spend an Advantage in order to add +1 Boost on the next check with the same skill (before the end of the current session). Our GM allows the crafter to add up to +7 Boosts (from 7 Advantages) in this fashion.

Each boost is only good for the next roll.
However, the Advantages will keep adding up the longer that you work at rolling the dice, so eventually you will have those +7 Boosts available to roll on the next check. (Possibly with some extra +Boosts from other sources, like talents or good tools - check with @EliasWindrider about that.)
Oooh. So i keep adding boosts, then refresh and add based on advantages etc...? Okok. I’m gonna reroll lightsaber, making defensive saber, so 3 rolls max fr me to keep it to 900 creds.
Then how about the crystal?
