The city, like most settlements on Saleucami, is built within an old impact crater; Taleucema is the largest, spanning some six kilometers across and a kilometer in depth. The starport is built into the upper levels of the northern rim. Bubse root extract is the primary resource of the region, both in legitimate medicine and illicit bubse spice trade. The Imperial presence here is limited to Taleucema city, with a Governor and a platoon of stormtroopers (four squads). While there is no official embassy, diplomatic or intelligence presence, there is a COMPNOR agent in the sector who often resides in the city. • The Paradise is a resort casino located in The Belt, the district radiating outward from the starport. Perhaps oddly, it is not one of the Zann Consortium's establishments, though they do possess other holdings in the Belt. With enough credits, one could comfortably live, eat, recreate... pretty much do anything, without ever leaving the confines of the resort.
• Governor Drustus Holt is the Imperial representative officially responsible for enforcing policy, but the city is a well-oiled machine, and he mostly just accepts the appropriate bribes to keep it running that way. Holt fancies himself an amateur archaeologist, and is a collector of separatist war militaria. When his presence is not required, he often accompanies expeditions in order to add to his collection. • The drug czar is a Pantoran man named Wilem Topal, native to Saleucami. Thus far, he has refused to relinquish provincial authority over the control of bubse root derivatives to either the Empire or any of the criminal syndicates. I think Cani would know more about mechanised infantry and placements of more advanced starships in the sector. That new walker with the anti grav gyro was tested by a platoon here. Or they used the new hyper drive installed in a retrofitted destroyer to travel here while on patrol.

The Intrepid is currently the only capital ship in the Suolriep Sector.

Cani, due to the nature of her work, is familiar with a secret test facility hidden in an impact crater on Saleucami. Imperial Advanced Weapons Research has partnered with a small group of engineers from Sienar Fleet Systems, to create a new walker prototype using anti-grav gyro technology. A small detachment from armored cav is garrisoned on site for testing.

It would probably be more like a few hours for the cavalry to arrive. The crater is several hundred kilometers northeast of the city. @SithArissa
