I will engage the leader and attack with my Lightsaber, that’s 2P1B?

Rebel leader rolled Triumph on Initiative and is going to Dodge, so with Adversary 3 and Defense 1, it will be vs. 3eC+1eS.

Well how bought he dodge a choke?

RAW, I don’t think he can, since Bind is not technically a combat check.

Opposed Discipline is vs. 1eD+3eC.

Just calling dibs on the astromech for when it's my turn 😛

And the difficulty on a Coercion check, since he opened with wanting to Parley.

Defensive Stance and Side Step are a Maneuver and apply against melee and ranged attacks respectively, Dodge is an Out-of-Turn Incidental and applies against all ranged or melee attacks.

@Edgehawk so he has 3 ranks of discipline and those are not adversary, if it’s adversary it should not apply to social checks, there is a separate trait for that one.

“Side-step” in the IC was narrative. I sometimes let rivals/nemeses use appropriate talents with a Destiny flip, but in this case, it was just descriptive, perhaps telegraphing his intent.

Look, the guy is a specforce captain. He has 4 Willpower/ 3 ranks Discipline. If you really want to see, I am using this as a general template: http://swa.stoogoff.com/#major-jex-karvek-commando-raider

Just making Sure

Spend 2 strain on Intimidating to make it a 1 Red check

Coercion (Intimidating) : 1eP+3eA+1eC+3eD 1 failure, 3 advantage

He stands his ground, but maybe he won't be to keen on firing right away since the inquisitor is talking, Can the advantage be spent on giving the men enough time to filter through the door.

This is all fine. Everyone but the death troopers can make it inside at this time.

Hawk can heal at +2, would he be any help?

Sure! You might not be the doc they expect, so maybe announce your intent, take it easy on the sudden moves, careful where you point the rifle and such.

My rifle is in my locker in the ship.

We can pause structured time, unless/until combat ensues. The commandos have relaxed only slightly, and are still ready to act (next in initiative, following the Inquisitor’s turn), should the uneasy situation deteriorate.

Anyone can feel free narrate IC, or ask questions OOC, presently.

Guess Luks is the only one that didn’t get the memo. 😀

I still have my Dakka pistols.

For GM Only:

Now might be a good time to remind you of backstory RP stuff.

Highlight above.

Sorry for the delay

Den got the memo, he just, erm, 'lost' it.

@Rimsen Tell me what you want to try, and I’ll provide you with a dice pool. Hawk @Barbaross41 can assist. The patient or the attached creature could conceivably be targeted.

Also, PBPs being what they are... here it is after Thanksgiving and we’re just getting into the Halloween adventure. 😮 If you guys want to skip the horrorfest below in the lower levels, we can do that. It’s fine with me, either way, but I know horror is not really classic Star Wars, so I will go with the preference of the majority (let me know).

I guess i didn't see anything like that before, or could I? Knowledge xenology?

I'm fine with horror, but I could be biased as I just finished last session with a phalanx of Rakghouls showing up at a one way tunnel before half of the PCs :D

This would be a Daunting Xenology check, with a Boost. It is highly unlikely that Evon has encountered this creature previously, but he may possibly have run across its mention here at Watercrest.

Who let the Xenomorphs into Star Wars.

That's what I was thinking when I originally heard "on the table writhing and screaming." :D
