Sorry- Not trying to be a lazy player, but my "go to" for a single Advantage is often to recover Strain or pass a Boost (both of which have been stated to not be appropriate at this time). Maybe Lance looks up in exasperation, giving up with the lock, and notices a panel in the ceiling? Or he realizes he recognizes the guard's uniform, and recalls something about how he got here?

nah recovering strain wasn't allowed on the first roll if you want your moving around pulls and stretches your muscles giving you that weird sensation of fatigued relax-ness

@Stormbourne Pamalyn wants to make a perception check in the room w/scanner goggles on. What is the difficulty and can I get a blue dice to represent 'active searching'?

well in the room is pretty nondescript is there anything in particular your looking for?

how many exits and where they are located/how far are they ranged band wise, are there other cells, does it look like we are in a detention center, or just a normal dark room, do we see our weapons?

one obvious one ( U0smrha.png U0smrha.png O51ag5q.png to check for others) the entire room is within short range, yes, no, its rather dim but your goggles negate that, the only weapon you can see in the room is the pistol on the guards lap ( O51ag5q.png O51ag5q.png to see if he has others)

1. Did the selonian open and shut the cell doors as two incidentals?

2. So we are engaged with the selonian with the cell door between is

3. I understand you rolled the triumph and advantages but my character was ready for an attack, no initiative rolls?

Indeed

If combat had continued I would have gotten initiative but frankly the guard isn't looking for a fight, just wanted to slap you around for insulting him, as he has you captive

What check, if possible at all, to identify which spice is being smoked.

Sorry I did not bring this up sooner, but why two reds and one purple difficulty to see if there were other guards in the room unless there is an enemy in he room with stealth 2 and agility 3 or a combination of those stats.

Becuae if I’m rolling two red, that is flipping destiny point territory.

Dont mean to be a difficult player but I want to get a baseline on how the game will be.

That was for finding secret doors not other guards I already told you you only got this one guy in here

Okay. I never asked for finding secret doors, I asked if there were other exits but I will take the two red and one purple for finding secret doors

I made the roll.

The intial response was no one else. I take that as no other guard. Does that also mean there are no secret doors?

It was a difficult roll with just three dice. Can I gain a stain back with the advantage?

Just to make it clear there's one bored guard looking over all of you in a rather nondescript rather empty room with one clear exit and maybe other hidden ones

This was my roll against two reds and one purple.

I took the roll and made it.

OOC: I am wondering why I am rolling against two reds? Usually in this situation there is either a NPC whom I am making an opposed roll against OR the GM flipped a destiny point.

same room separate cells

if given a few minutes the guard might fall asleep giving you a better chance to escape
