@The Jabbawookie @FortyInRed If you have any spare fleet capacity can you reinforce either planet this turn?

I've got a caravan of beer carriers in dsQY. I'm not sure how it would be able to help you though as it is almost certainly of lower point value than what you have at either planet. If I sent them to either, they would have to then retreat yes?

PS whoever is at dsCT, please identify yourself. We have proven ourselves both a valuable ally and a deadly opponent when we are forced to fight..

@FortyInRed - Governor-General Tron'di has forces available to provide planetary defense for your capital. Please do not fire on Tron'di forces hypering in this turn so that we may hand over temporary control to you.

Consider their loan a repayment for the repair costs you overpaid me.

Thank you sir. Unnecessary but sincerely appreciated. Should I send a transport (or two?) to meet you in dsTC?

Safe to assume that is your fleet there, correct?

I’m thinking by his use of the word “loan” he means to offer an unenforced blockade?

@Matt3412 @FortyInRed

We can offer extra forces to C, Q or Y. I am personally inclined to move them to a random location, with a hold fire order regarding the locals. That would require a hold fire regarding us on all those planets, of course.

I'm fine with whatever you can spare

I have hold fire orders on my allies

Yes that is correct, you should probably just reinforce your capital in case anything happens now that I think about it

I have a fleet en-route to C via dsA. This turn, they will jump to C, and be given to you to control, for your planetary defense.

No strings attached.

It would be nice to get them back once you are able to stand on your own two feet, but if I don't get them back, that is okay.

That is quite generous, thank you friend.

@Matt3412 - now that you have claimed your VP for holding A, would you be interested in discussing a swap of A for B? My rationale is to allow for consolidation of territory - I will be able to move from my core worlds to outlying sectors in one turn, as will you. I see this as a mutually-beneficial agreement.

@Bertie Wooster - it appears that we are neighbors. Is there some arrangement we can come to in order to strengthen our relationship? What do you need in order to further your interests?

Also, am I correct in stating that there are no (known) wars being actively pursued this period?

I sill have another vp I can claim next turn that has to do with A as well, but yes after that goes through

Thanks for asking. Is there anything you need?

We are currently at war with the Preyerhold Autarchy, but he has no allies. We're about to wipe him out at X soon.

We will also need to take over A eventually to claim a few VPs, so permission to go through dsB would be great.

Indeed, let us know then when you might be ready and we can discuss terms.

We find ourselves in a curious situation. It is a time of peace. We have forged a strong alliance, we have an excess of credits, and yet can find no clear peaceful path forward in our search for the Challice of Lord Stan Lee.

Our goons lust for fisticuffs but out leadership abhors war. We are torn.

Perhaps you would allow us to conquer X and search X for the Challice?

We would conquer the planet, then abdicate it to you on the next turn in exchange for some beer carriers. We could be there in 2 more turns. Thoughts?

Regarding Alberta, we may be open to allowing you to "rent" it from us, assuming of course that @Matt3412 and I can come to a suitably beneficial agreement first.

I think you will find a "peaceful victory" extremely difficult to achieve.

For the lack of war across the sector, I fear this is the calm before the storm...

@Bertie Wooster do you have the ground forces to take x?

We do now, yes. We had to wait a few turns to gather them, hence our blockading and bombarding the last few turns.

@FortyInRed We are already going to conquer X this turn. We've been making preparations to invade for the last five turns or so, we'd rather hold onto the planet once we have it. (Giving up the planet for one turn could be a challenge, given its IC value.) Is there a particular reason you think the chalice may be at X, as opposed to any other planet?

Good, I was going to see if you would like assistance but I will send my fleet else where

Indeed, understood. Best of luck.

Wehave not sent out scouts to X yet, and therefore cannot rule out the possibility of the Challice being there. Our interest in X was two-fold:

1) to assuage the more violent amongst us with a brief bout of fisticuffs

2) to continue our search

We were ignorant to the IC value. Would you be interested in producing any beer carriers under contract for the Consortium?

We have an excess of credits and are looking to build further inroads with your people. We are willing to offer you a handy commission off the top. Care to name your price?

@FortyInRed do you still control A?

also my fleet will be passing through Deep space B, do not worry they are just returning from their campaign

In order to search for the chalice, do you need to control the planet, or just send a scout? You could send a scout to X once we've conquered it, and issue no-fire orders for the turn.

We also have an excess of credits, and are trying to build ships and GF for ourselves, so we're not sure yet about the beer carrier offer. We'll think about it. How large of a beer carrier?

Turn 10 hyperpings… T, dsB, M, U, Y, H, C, L, dsA, X.

Planet Xyquinerit has fallen to the FUNK. 9 FUNK GF lost in the invasion. The Preyhold Autarchy has ceased to exist.

At planet C'Nada a Trondi force has handed control of 2 ships and some squadrons to the Consortium.

At planet Hurrikane a Trondi force has occupied the planet from the Mandalorians. No Trondi casualties.

At planet Ylesia a Mandalorian force arrives in orbit. Both sides hold fire. Syndicate squadrons retreat to the planet.

At planet Layzee a Trondi force encounters the FUNK. Neither side fires. Trondi forced to retreat.

{I think this is all - if I have not sent you a scout report or I have missed an obvious combat, please let me know}

{Orders due in 72 hours from time of post}

@FortyInRed - The fruits of your labor should not go to those who attacked you without warning, without provocation! You have been given the means for your own Liberation, and Tron'di stands with you! Rise up! Cast off your shackles! Renounce the treaties you were forced to sign inder duress and rejoin the community as a full partner!

@The Jabbawookie - Your aggression towards the Consortium, your fear mongering, is not conducive to the peace and stability of this sector. Your claims have been revoked by the Crown-Prince.

For the good of all in this sector we must ensure that our allies are no longer threatened by your warmongering again!

@LTD
