@idjmv I’ll order everything back to my homeworld again - but I tried last time and that didn’t work

Understood. We will withdraw our forces from your planet

We have a gozanti that we will finish building next turn that we could give to you as reparations, if this is acceptable to you, in order to avoid war.

Well, that is certainly a more generous offer. We will consider this. It is also time for us to consider the counsel of our allies, the 5th Sector and the GNIPians.

@clontroper5 @GhostofNobodyInParticular What would your preference be? Warlords or Peacelords?

(I think the offer is generous, but I also don't know how any of us will win objectives without making enemies, defeating those enemies in battle and taking their planets by force...)

I agree. It is a conundrum. And, the longer people delay in making war, the less willing we are likely to be to do so. So, for the sake of the game I would argue that we should go to war. But all other considerations suggest peace is preferable.

Warmonger or bust!

Very well, it is agreed, a war it shall be.

The Preyerhold Autarchy attacked the Nordic Berserkers, then the Nordic Berserkers attacked us...we shall attack them both.

5th Sector, we will still send the Quasar to planet J unless you say otherwise.

Ground Forces will certainly be required for this war, as at least one of you will be invading a capital planet, or at least trying to do so.

Let us know if you need any credits. Our economy is incredibly strong, we have plenty of them.

( @idjmv Nothing personal. We appreciate your attempts to reconcile, but we and our allies have been itching for battle.)

Please Remember any movement above any of my planets will be fired upon,

Take deep space if passing through B and please warn me well ahead of time

May we pass through deep space B next turn? We will not touch the planet.

We could use a few, but we leave it to you (also, if there are any terms attached, we'll have to consider it).

Speaking of capturing planets, as far as I can tell there are only 3, right? X, F, and S? So as there are three factions assaulting (FUNK, 5th, and me), we should probably coordinate which planet we each are going for, so as to not end up on the same planet.

No strings attached, we just want our allies to be successful.

Transfer 50 credits to the Governmental Ghosts of GNIPia.

(Yes, those are the planets I had in mind. I will attack X next turn, and hopefully put the Preyerhold out of the game. You and clon can decide on who wants F or S.)

We thank you profusely for the gift.

I have no preference, as I have no idea what those planets contain.

@clontroper5 do you have any objection to going to S, and I going to F?

@The Jabbawookie how close are you to.my system?

What's your ETA?

@Bertie Wooster can I pick up the quasar from your territory instead of J?

Yes, that's fine. Pick up from planet R.

About Turn 9, I think.

Turn 5 orders are in. Hyperpings at: A, C, T, S, F, N, R, L, D, X, Y, G, P.

Processing. Please hold.

Edited by LTD

At Retreete, the forces of FUNK and the 5th Sector meet. Neither side shoots. A Quasar is handed from FUNK to 5th Sector. As a result, the remaining FUNK force is outnumbered and forced to retreat.

At Nogood, the forces the 5th Sector Authority have arrived in orbit over the FUNK planet. No invasion results.

At Ava F'Tarq the forces of the Trondi and the Consortium have met. The Trondi hold fire, the Consortium do not. + 1 to the defender.
The Consortium have 180 points, the Trondi have 36. 83% vs 17%. +6 to the defender.
Roll: 4 + 6 + 1 = 11 Attacker takes 75% casualties, defender takes 10%.
The Trondi HH is scarred and forced to retreat - no Consortium casualties.

Ava F'Tarq has been conquered by the Consortium. The Steward has gone into hiding.

Please hold.

The Nordic Beserkers have arrived in orbit over Far F'Tarq the Lesser. The planet is blockaded.

Turn 6 is now live.

The public objective for turn 6 is:

I control planets with a combined total credit production greater than the combined production of the next two highest players combined. 3VP.

There was an error above - hyperping at P, not O.

If I have missed something, please let me know.

Turn 6 orders are due in a little less than 48 hours. Thanks!

I also missed a hyperping at H. A Raider is waiting for the Mandalorians to pay before being handed over.

Transfer 70 credits to @GhostofNobodyInParticular.

Do I have the Raider now?

@Bertie Wooster

transfer 80 credits to FUNK

Thanks for your business

As far as we are concerned, yes.
