All operation equipment is owned by Imperial Reclamations, understood sir.

Good. I look forward to your good work officer.

What does a TIE Pilot get?

I'm looking to be a naval officer. Hopefully work my way up to Admiral eventually. Dunno what an appropriate starting rank/role would be, or what free equipment I'd get.

I'm torn between Infiltrator/courier, and cyber-tech/commando currently. Does the group have any preference which I go with?

You’ll get a tie pilot suit, I’ll look around to c if there is any official one, if not I’ll grab something else to use. You’ll also get a tie fighter of course, though like the walker, it’s not exactly yours, but you can use it when needed.

Oh, I forgot to say, but all uniforms will be given for free(by the Empire), so feel free to spend your credits on other items you think you will need.

Ok. So you’ll get a simple uniform(i’ll look for it, if you hv any ideas, please do share though). For starting rank, I’ll start you at ensign, and excellent performance, obedience, etc will let you earn your way up the ranks quickly.

As for other free equipment... well I’m not too sure what else would be useful enough to be free XD so... maybe a datapad...? Or something like that?

For tie flight suits, do you think the TX-3 combat flight suit is ok?

for the tie vehicle itself, choose one of the standard TIE fighters, be it bomber, defender etc.

Does everyone think it’s ok?

I'll take the datapad. And maybe some sort of neck armor to defend against force-chokes? I hear it's the leading cause of death in the Imperial navy 😳

Ok for tie fighters, i’ve shortlisted it to

TIE/LN, TIE/SA, TIE/IN. Is that ok? These 3 r the more standard fighters, and others will be given through promotions, good service etc

Okie sure. And I’m not sure XDDD i don’t think neck armour helps much against that kinda stuff XDDD. I’m sure good service and obedience will prevent that though. Vader won’t be a major part of the campaign, cause I wanna focus more on how Inperials do their day to day lives, serving the empire, and that’s often without Vader around.

Haha, yeah, I figured. I was just joking.

For @SithArissa and @btmaja , I’ll look more into the gear section to see if there are any small items that you guys can grt for free.

@MattParody , @Arina_1 , the forum will be here from now on, as I’ll be starting the game in this forum :)

Everyone will also have comlinks for free, looking through the models now to see which is best.

Everyone will get a 3-MAL secure comlink. Stormtroopers and tie pilots get the DH77 headcomm

though if anyone feels its unfair, i can give everyone a handheld comlink instead, but for the soldiers, it’ll just be in their helmets instead, thiugh same stats etc

The ship everyone will be in is a Imperial class stardestroyer, being sent out on missions to destroy rebel cells, curb uprisings, conquer new planets etc.

@SithArissa , if you would like, I can give you a sort of driver suit for free, while you buy the pit crew coveralls? Unless you wish to wear those to pilot.

What year does the campaign take place in? Is it before or after A New Hope? By how much?

@player3333902 I was thinking the A/KT Flight Suit from Stay on target, as it costs half as much.

Alright, that’s good too :)

Before ANH, maybe about... the rogue one time? Slightly before that. I’ll check the galactic timeline again and get the exact year.

@Hchar , here is the other forum :)

btw, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, do bring them up! :) i’m a relatively new gm and I want this game to be very player driven. :)

Hello, joining from the other thread.

Some what torn between the idea of a trooper or a technician type character. I may need to take a look through my books here.

Glad to have you! Feel free to make whatever you wish to make! :)

though for troopers, everyone starts as a stormtrooper(though you can be a tie pilot too) and eventually, you can get promoted to things like stormtrooper commander, deathtrooper, shadow trooper etc.

For things like scout trooper and aqua trooper, these will also be promotions, based on what areas your commanders see you fare better in. Unless it’s preferred that these be “specialisations” from the start?

Found the link.

i think I would like to start as a stormtrooper looking to go into a more specialized ops.

Since we’re supposed to be graduates of the academy, any chance of us getting the Imperial Academy Cadet universal to start?

Looking over things I’ve changed my ideas a bit and gotten a bit torn.

Gunner: We are working from a star destroyer, have a character that is ground pilot/analyst, and one that is a fighter pilot on the command track. This could be a good support to any of those.

Tactician or Commodore: Depends on the branch of the military and sets up for a climb for command. Strategist seems like something to add later on. Tactian makes more sense if we’re on the ground a lot. Commodore more if we’re being ship based.

Quartermaster: not so much a combat role and as written is more Rebel oriented than Imperial.... Unless you’re a little crooked. ;D

Long and short most of what I’m considering are support roles.
