So Temeura is 59.

Boba would be 41 at the time of season 1 of the mandalorian. Possibly slightly older if season 2 has a time jump.

Rex would be 82 because of accelerated aging.

So he's not really ideal age for either. Probably easier to use makeup to look older vs cgi to look younger though.

He's not in bad shape for 59, I think they could manage to age him down for Boba.

But that's assuming you ever even see his face. He could do the same thing that Pablo Pascal did, and mostly not even be in the armor.

Is it just me wary of all these returning characters?

Season one of the Mandalorian was great, of course it was, but does it really need Ahsoka, Rex, Sabine, Boba and God knows who else?

I mean, there's cameos, and there's RoS. At some point it just looks like Filoni is trying to get a his s**t in.

Edit: and yes, I'm saying this as the same guy who would like to see Bail, Mon Mothma, Draven and Merrick show up in the Cassian Andor series. More than willing to give them the benefit of the doubt with this after season one, but it would be sad to see a fresh new story usurped by cameos.

Genevieve O'Reilly already confirmed her presence as Mon Mothma in the Cassian Andor serie.

IMO it is great to keep track on the history of the characters. It's following not only the Skywalker family, but everything that revolves around the main story (as Obi-Wan mini-serie).

If you look in IMDB, Morrison has been assigned to Boba, not Rex. I know they are the same DNA, but Rex was programmed to grow faster than Boba. It will be harsh to make 2 ages for the same actor.

Initially I was thinking that maybe we will see a jedi academy with Mando getting the baby Yoda to Luke. Seeing that Ahsoka is incorporated in the serie is a nice thing, but I hope that the direction of the series will be well thought.

Now I am curious about the timeline of the serie about the search for Ezra with Ahsoka and Sabine. Will it happen as the live-action spin-off of Mando, or as animated following directly the end of Rebels ?

I'm honestly wondering if Sabine, Ahsoka, Rex rumors for Mando S2 are going to be flashbacks to events related to the Darksaber, since all of them have been around for various Darksaber events. (Note, I haven't read the details of the rumors because I'm annoyed enough at the headlines about it, so if the rumors are about a specific event already, then whatever.)

Seems that even Bo-Katan will be there.... Mandalore will have a sequel to the Rebels last season first episodes

Could be flashbacks and that makes a lot of sense. Maybe they delve into how Moff Gideon actually got the Darksaber. I am though wary as well of these rumors of these characters being in it now. I don't want this series to get too bogged down with characters that the plot suffers.

I totally agree that the main cast shouldn't be too many characters. However, I think that bringing the characters that have touched Mandalore's history into Mandalorian makes perfect sense.

Ahsoka with Bo-Katan in Clone Wars, Sabine with Bo-Katan in Rebels, and Ahsoka and Sabine in the Rebels finale. It makes perfect sense that these 3 are going to be a part of the sequel of the history of Mandalore, and that part will be shown in a serie. Which one is not determined yet.
