Not a bad episode.
But wait! It's only me or the "gunship" looks A LOT like the Rogue-class starfighter?

It does, the Rogue Class itself based on designs that went unused for Attack of the Clones originally and were then later to be used for Revenge of the Sith but also never quite made it to the final stage of development.

Thank you, I was feeling a bit alone: spotted it immediately but no one was mentioning it.

You sure for the Attack of the Clones part?
To the best of my recollection, it was designed as the P-38, a starfighter for the people on Utapau before not being used and then repurposed as the Rogue Class in Clone Wars

Yes there were sketches in the Art of Attack of the Clones , possibly then scaled larger as it was briefly considered for Padmé Amidala’s personal transport (not the Phantom Menace J-type 327 Nubian Royal Starship one which was later gifted to Vader then used for Captain Phasma’s armour), but her Senatorial one, though that craft was not further developed past early stages and was then considered for Revenge of the Sith where it was scaled down but did not make an appearance till The Clone Wars .
If your worried why it’s not on Wookieepeidia, as someone who’s made well over 6,400 edits (and as I am as fallible as the next guy) to that site all I can do is gently remind you of this scene,

I am attempting to find the image from the art book to add, but for your reference it was the UNUSED precursor to what they did use. Like I said it was a larger design at first.
Another example of this type of design development is how what became known as the Corellian Gunship was a much earlier version of both the Falcon , and the Corellian Corvette , and even much later also inspiration for what became the Jedi Consular Cruiser , but the Gunship itself had not been seen outside of early artwork and in the Role Playing Games for decades. Despite being an inspiration to more iconic ships, it’s own appearance comes much later.

Thank you for the info.
I was not worried about wookiepedia, that's such a minor detail.
It was my recollections of the tech books from episode III and prequel artbooks

That’s exactly my basis here too, art books and *own personal recollection.

ANOTHER “shoot them from behind gag” but at least a NEW tracking beacon!

Great episode 👍 👍 hiding baby Yoda cutest yet.
Watching this, it felt *a lot* like a one-off RPG adventure, at least for the first half or so. Guy meets quest giver, finds a group: brutish dude, knifey girl, shooty dude, techy droid. They go into a dungeon, fight enemies, get into trouble. Then it is turned in its head a bit (nice Alien vibes).
All in all, great fun episode. Loved the OT fashion, too.
So I'm thinking about the timelines...
Anakin was born 41 years before the battle of Yavin IV. Vader died on Endor 4 years later. 45 years.
The Client tells Mando that the last location they had for the Target was 50 years ago.
Depending on exactly how long the series takes place after the fall of the Empire (we're told about 5 years), Baby Yoda might be older than Darth Vader .
Jon Favreau: Here’s a craft project from #TheMandalorian that one of our artists put together for you.
This does not even make sense but made me laugh.

It boggles my mind that somehow people have forgotten what episodic storytelling is in this age of streaming.
Modern Star Trek has the opposite problem, a lot of the fans want the current linear storytelling to return to the episodic roots of the franchise.

Yes, yes! I got the same feeling. It looked like a quest for RPG or an Imperial Assault mission.

Also, the direction of lighting. Makes it seem like the middle x wing is actually going in the opposite direction.
